This restaurant has been permanently closed since October closed due to an injury to the chef/co-owner.
I've been eating here for 4 years and I have never been disappointed. A true family run Mexican restaurant.
Good food and service

Food was ok, slightly spicier than my palette could handle that day but with a very good taste. Tamale was good, not dry. Relleno was good.
Parking: Handicapped parking is on an incline, which could be an issue if you are on wheels.

The food and service here are excellent. Our server Alexis is the bomb. If you are in Port Townsend you are going to love it.

If you asked me how good the quesadilla was, I would say it was good. But if you asked me on a deeper level, I would say it was the best quesadilla I’ve ever had. I went to bed thinking about it, dreaming about it and I woke drooling about it. The quesadilla and guacamole was exquisite and the perfect size. Not to big not to small, just right. I wish Gordon Ramsey was here to taste such a fine delicacy.

In northern Washington, Port Townsend even, you do not expect to find a good Mexican restaurant. Border and Sonoran styles are cooked and Mexican Beers are served. Stop here each trip to Port Townsend.
We love this place. It isn't fancy but it is comfortable, the food is excellent and the service is very friendly. We know Mexican food and this is top quality. Everything is good...I recommend the shrimp fajitas.

Really like this place. We almost always get carne asada burritos, because they are a reasonable portion, very delicious and not so filling that you need to be rolled home. We've tried a few other dishes. The rolled tacos are great, but that burrito has my loyalty. Definitely a good place to bring family, my only wish is that they were open a bit later.

Great authentic Mexican restaurant with some decent vegetarian options and amazing bartender.
We had the chicken tacitos and chile rellanos. Both excellent. The waitperson (owner wife?) was attentive, cheerful and accommodating. I've read other (negative) reviews and can't understand the difference in experiences. We loved this restaurant and will surely return.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food within a traditional Mexican climate this is the place.
Vegetarian options: Simply ask..they will adjust any item on the menu. They have vegetarian options but it doesn’t hurt to ask before ordering. I personally am allergic to bell peppers, they adjusted my order accordingly.

Really good carne asada. Beef used for burritos and tacos bland. Edible but not tasty.
