One of the friendliest and most helpful hosts — she was attending to everyone with a smile. Even when someone ordered the wrong takeout item, she fixed it quickly while making the customer feel happy.

Hillbottom is the only place in port Townsend that makes real pizza. The crust is always perfect and the cook on the whole pie is 10/10. They also make this india apple curry soup that is way to good. I am bery impressed by the qaulity and consistency they put out.Downsides, they are always busy necause the food is so good. Be patient because it is worth the wait. If you call in an order and the line is busy wait 5 mins and try again. All the pizzas are delicious including the potatoe pizza which has no business being as good as it is.

As we walked in from leaving another pub that didn’t have the best atmosphere or food we were greeted by the local deputy sheriff. It was surprisingly the best sign we could’ve asked for, because he immediately said, as we looked at the menu: “This is the spot, It’s a good place!” He recommended the soups and pie.Apparently the place where the local police grab a bite, defines good food…especially in Port Townsend. It was Great Food, Great Beer, Great Atmosphere and Great Service.

We had a delicious salad, and the pizza was fantastic. A huge portion with generous toppings — a 12-inch pizza was plenty for 2-4 people. Highly recommend.

The food at this place is AMAZING. The pizza was cooked to perfection and the clam chowder was out of this world. My wife and I ordered a 12 inch pizza (their standard size) thinking it would PROBABLY be enough. It was so loaded, we ended up taking half of it back to the hotel. Yes, we are from out of town, but if we ever get back, we will definitely stop by there again!

This might be my favorite pizza place ever, counting everything I've had in Berkeley, SF, Seattle, Denver, Kirkland, and travels. The pies are also very good...apple is my favorite but you can't go wrong. Pro tip, if you want a pie for dinner desert eat early and order the pie first to reserve it. They do run out.
