I have had sushi all over the US and this is by far the best I ever had. Fresh and wonderfully prepared, there are also surprising combinations served by a knowledgeable and courteous staff. I wish I could afford to eat there every day.

Lots of variety in the bento box lunch. Tasty variety, I wish there was more chicken in the chicken teriyaki portion. Fast friendly service in a pleasant atmosphere.

My husband and I had THE BEST experience here for lunch. Caleb is an increble chef and the service was flawless. At the end of the day, every single thing we ordered was fresh and absolutely delicious so we will 10000% be coming here the next time we visit Port Townsend. If you're looking for sushi, this is the place to go! Cheers!

Such a disappointing experience! Over an hour to get mediocre sushi with cringeworthy service that obsequiously kept assuring us our food was coming right up. Overpriced for the quality which has come down since they lost their long-standing chef. Having worked a lot of service, I'll give the benefit of the doubt - but they knew they failed hard and pretended it was business as usual. Give them some time and maybe they'll figure out how to come back to what they were once.

I love this place and have been coming for several years now, always a treat. The tempura onion rings are the best anywhere, seared ahi salad, scallops that melt in your mouth and of course great sushi. Great service from nice people!
Slowest sushi experience I’ve ever had. Took over an hour to get 5 rolls. No check in from the server. Dirty plates left in the table. Would not return.

I’ve eaten here a couple of times and never felt too compelled to leave a review until now. Times prior, I felt that the staff was pretty busy and that’s why they weren’t being too friendly. This time, however, being only two of four people in the restaurant, We were sitting at our table for about 15 minutes without Service. The waiter did finally come to take Our order was very rude. He didn’t check on us very often and we had to ask for water several times by getting up and walking over to someone. We got our food, it was presented very nicely. The taste was good and definitely better than Safeway sushi. However, for the amount we paid, I can honestly say that I was let down and pretty upset with what we were given. And I’ve seen the owner on here Nasty comments towards one star reviews before, So all I want to say is that I have eaten plenty of sushi And have paid a lot more for sushi than this, but this was not worth the money.
If you enjoy sushi and want to support local food please go here if you have the money. If you are looking for something a little more affordable with more options with great quality, I would suggest some places in Seattle/ kitsap/ Bellingham/ B.C. Area! ( the stuff in B.C. Is super cheap but incredibly amazing! Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had)

The rolls were mediocre. The sashimi was small with chewy salmon. Very expensive with small portions. If you wanna be full by the end of the meal, expect to pay $30-40 per person on rolls alone.

We loved this place until their statement that their employees aren't paid enough to get by.... it's up to the customers to tip the difference. We tip we'll, but as a gratuity, not to offset the lack of wages by the restaurant.
My husband and I had a great time here. We ate dinner at the bar while Chef Caleb prepared a beautiful assortment of rolls. Chef Caleb is skilled and friendly. I am a vegetarian and had plenty to choose from. My husband ate a wide variety of rolls. Service was friendly. The atmosphere was inviting and sitting at the bar was a plus. The hot tea was delicious and it was a great place for dinner! Items we enjoyed included: fresh oysters (yum!) and for the seafood lover and meat eater: Karaage wings, Ichikawa roll, Dungeness crab roll, Karachi maguro (dungeness was the fave) and for the vegetarian: Kampyo Roll (yum!), Avocado roll and Shojin roll (extra yum!). Highly recommend going! A nice high quality, low pressure meal.
Vegetarian options: It is easy to see the vegetarian section on the menu and items are clearly marked and labeled.
Dietary restrictions: Plenty of gluten free, dairy feee, soy free, nut free, and vegetarian and vegan options.
Parking: There is a large open parking lot in front of the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: I saw kids enjoying dinner with their families with coloring books and having a great time.
Wheelchair accessibility: It seemed to me that the wide parking lot and low to the ground entryway could accommodate wheelchair access.
