I visited this restaurant a year ago and was surprised to see how much the prices have gone up since then. At first glance, the prices on the menu seem reasonable, but once you start adding basics like chicken or beef—which should arguably be included—the total cost changes dramatically. While I understand there may be some extra charges, the add-ons felt excessive and brought the final bill to a much higher amount than expected.
For example, two of us ordered a $12 appetizer, two drinks at $5 each, and a two of noodle dishes. With tip, the total came out to over $90. I only realized how much the price had increased when the bill arrived.
In my opinion, the restaurant has a responsibility to be more upfront and transparent about its pricing. Unfortunately, the food itself didn’t feel special enough to justify the high cost.
Worse thai food. No flavor, too salty, greasy.
This was the best Thai food we’ve ever had!! Service was great. Can’t wait to eat the leftovers!! Don’t miss this one!
Fantastic flavor in in the pad thai and yellow curry, nicely presented. Really attractive interior, great service - friendly and quick.
I got the wontons and pad se ew. The wontons were expensive and only came with 5 little ones that were more wonton wrapper than filling. I love pad se ew because it usually has a nice subtly sweet flavor, this pad se ew was just salty, no sweetness at all. Not my fav, probably won’t be going back next time I visit.
Salads and greens were super fresh and spices great!
Great food and almost everything can be vegan.
Five star service and food!! Also 5 star spicy level is absolutely 5 star or more. Hard to find delicious spicy food that lives up to it's name in port townsend honestly.
We had the garlic green beans appetizer and it was delicious! We each ordered the ginger tofu from the specialty menu and it was spectacular! One order would easily be plenty for two people, so we will have the leftovers tomorrow. The restaurant is beautiful and the servers were gracious and efficient. We felt so welcome and look forward to our next visit
I'm sorry, I really really wanted to like this place. It was our first time to dine here and we've lived close by for 40yrs! The food was just ok. My husband's duck was $35 and VERY small portion and he said it was ok, he usually realy likes duck (i do not). I had the crispy garlic chicken which was just ok, but what wasn't ok was the hair I found in mine, then I let my husband eat from my plate and deep down in the dish he found a thread strand, Lol, it was definitely a piece of cotton thread, not a veggie strand. Not terribly gross, but still weird. I cook professionally so I get that "hairs happen' sometimes and it doesn't really gross me out. I'm not one of those people that send food back for a hair,,,, I know weird right? The thread actually bothered me more ?. And yes I did tell them about the hair. We paid full price for our meal $76 with tip. The service was good, very sweet waitress.

Just had lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the food. We had fresh spring rolls, which were truly fresh with peanut sauce, which was delightful. The Phad Thai was incredible as well.

Khu Larb, like its Thai name — Rose — suggests, is a rare gem of a restaurant. Real, authentic Thai flavors brought to live by chefs who lived and breathed Thai food.
