We had chicken mole and enchiladas as well as a hibiscus tea and a hot chocolate. Everything was very delicious and the service was wonderful. My husband said it reminds him of eating in a small café in Mexico. My only dislike was the Nirvana music pounding out of the kitchen because the dining room and the kitchen are all one space. Some interesting Mexican music would have been great.
If you’re passing through Port Townsend on your way home to Port Angeles, do yourself a favor and stop at LA Cocina—a hidden gem we discovered during a quick pitstop off the ferry. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home. Our waitress was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

We had a wonderful dinner at La Cocina! This restaurant has outdoor seating and is dog friendly. Riley and Autumn delivered delicious food, drinks and service. We ordered the painted hills carne asada and the pork Chile Verde. All the sauces were phenomenal and the house made chips and tortillas are delish!
