What a wonderful discovery! Outstanding Mexican dishes were not the first thing that came to mind when visiting the seaside town of Port Townsend, WA in the great Northwest. But now they are! If you appreciate creative cuisine, made fresh, with top quality ingredients, you will love La Cocina too!
My wife, baby and mother in law enjoyed a wonderful meal at La Cocina. The chile rellenos were excellent, as was the carne asada, and the churros for dessert were unlike any churros I've ever had, in a good way. Everything is made fresh, with high quality ingredients, and so much care! The people here care about serving our community high quality, delicious food. The atmosphere is also pleasant-dim lighting and cozy. We're lucky to have this wonderful restaurant in PT!
Had a great lunch! We got chips and salsa, tortilla soup, fish tacos, and Al pastor tacos. All of them were great, staff were super friendly. A few people around us got items off their brunch menu and it looked incredible!
