Stopped in for mid morning breakfast and was warmly greeted by the staff. There isn't a lot of tables inside but I was able to find a seat. Order the egg sandwich and a bear claw with a cup of coffee. All of which were delicious. And of course I had to try the blueberry surprise before I left and it was just as good as the rest.

Nice, unusual decor with antique chandeliers. We had breakfast casserole that was DELICIOUS. And wonderful blueberry bread pudding. Both items were excellent. Glad we came to this cafe!

A very nice café close to the ferry. The food was decent. It did take a bit of time but not excessive to get our order which was not big. I think it was because a large party ordered right before us.

I came here about a year ago around the same time for summer get away and I ordered a vanilla latte and a breakfast sandwich and it was immaculate like I’ve never had before the young lady must have been very experienced because I can remember it being perfect.
This year I returned in hopes of getting the same remarkable experience and service as I did last time…Nope not at all what I got. The latte tasted like a burnt tire and the person serving it was rude. And the breakfast sandwich was bland. Does this place have new owners or what because it has changed and not for the better.

Just needed a quick breakfast before getting on the ferry. Ordered a “chai latte” that seemed like it was just plain hot milk :( I had to ask for sweetener added to it to make it taste like something (slightly sweet hot milk). Plus I ordered avocado toast which tasted decent but was not worth the 15 bucks I paid for it. Overall I spent 20 bucks to have a bad drink and an overpriced toast :/

I got the rueben sandwich which was good as well as the salad, although the drinks were not that great. My latte just tasted like milk and the chai was also just iced milk. It’s overall a cute spot and good food, wouldn’t recommend the drinks.

This place has been here for ages and is wonderful.
Pros: The Italian toasted sandwich is terrific! Love it. The others look good too but the Italian… OMG.
Nice view, quirky place. You order at the counter and then take a table if one is available.
Cons: None really, other than a slightly disinterested teenager working the counter. But it’s so hard to get anyone to work here in PT that I’m ok putting up with it.
Can sometimes be hard to get a table.
Give them a try!
This is such a little gem. Best food we had in Port Townsend! The clam chowder is the best I've had in years - warm and cozy, but also light and subtle. We also had the Italian and Reuben, which were both excellent.
Amazing Brie Sandwiches! Friendly staff and great atmosphere!
