My friends and I came in for dinner just recently, we did have reservations. The food was amazing. We tried a couple of the appetizers and ordered four different entrees. We had hoped to have dessert but we're just too full. Looking forward to coming back again.

Service and atmosphere was nice, but the food is beyond mid, especially considering what they’re asking $$$ Pesto pasta with chicken parm tasted like yesterday’s overcooked angel hair. Somewhere, an Italian grandmother is weeping 😭

This was a very charming restaurant with excellent service and good food. My calamari was delicious and my mussels fresh. My wife loved her food. The mussels pasta I got was good but not incredible. And the desert was fine. Overall a worthwhile visit

Nicko's Grotto is located in a cool underground spot in downtown. They make good use of the space, with nice decorations and a generally good vibe. Service is acceptable but unremarkable, and the food, while there's nothing explicitly wrong with it, is not particularly great. I could probably make spaghetti better at home.

This place will satiate your craving for italian and seafood. We enjoyed our cocktails, calamari, crab ravioli and cioppino. Service was prompt and friendly. Didn't expect much walking down the stairs, but this restaurant was the culinary highlight on our most recent road trip.

Fantastic. We were delayed by the ferry and by a happy accident ended up at Nicko's and it made the wait delicious!

Service was friendly and attentive. Cocktails are normal price and quite good. The food was all very tasty and decently proportioned. It was great to see gluten free pasta available to substitute on most dishes. I definitely recommend this place.
