Not a good place to grab a coffee and do some work. Less than 20 minutes after making our purchases and sitting quietly on our laptops, they not-so-subtly asked us to leave. I have never, ever been asked to leave at a coffee or tea shop. Very unwelcoming service, borderline rude. If you're not a big spender, they will treat you poorly. I would not recommend Cafe Tenby to anyone.
Don't expect a tea room. Tea is by special order on line and Saturdays only. Impressive tea wall, amazing sandwich. Limited comfortable seating, mostly hard chairs. But great lunch spot.
Very Delicious food and the most kind people!! 10/10 would recommend❤️ (sourdough bread was the best we ever had!)
Scones are crack.
Excellent vegan gluten free cookies with generous chocolate perfect for dipping in coffee with a hidden courtyard and excellent service.
We love this place. Their avocado toast is to die for and their breakfast burrito is perfect. And you can't leave without checking out their baked goods. I typically leave with at least a slice of cake and something a bit smaller.
My husband and I got the breakfast sandwiches and he also picked the scone that people were raving about. It didn't look like how it was drawn, but I don't dock for that. He personally said it wasn't anything special and the breakfast sandwiches were ok. The top bun of the seeded ciabatta was really good. It tasted better without the egg and avocado, which I found interesting. A bit pricey for the serving size. However, it is a cute place and they sell teas and spices as well.
This is the first time I visited Cafe Tenby. OMG, the best scone, CLOTTED CREAM and Jam I have ever had this side of the pond! UNBELIEVABLE! Authentic in every way and the care and diligence it takes to create such a masterpiece is remarkable. That goes for every menu item. Then add impeccable service and you have a winning combo you won’t want to miss the next time you visit or have the opportunity to patronize. Thank you Cafe Temby team!
Excellent place, the food is to die for. I would highly recommend the ginger tumeric tea, I had a glass while at High Tea and went back to buy a bag to take home.
I'm addicted to their breakfast burritos!

Cafe Tenby’s high tea is absolutely amazing! The food is extremely good and the tea is even better. The waitstaff is very knowledgable and responsive. A wonderful experience overall.

I loved Pippa's Spice It Up Puerh tea and looked forward to traveling to Port Townsend to purchase a supply of this tea to last a good while until I could return once again. So I stocked up at Cafe Tenby, who assured me it was the exact same tea. It's not. Their tea tastes horrible and I cannot drink it, after spending more than I've ever spent on tea. I'm very disappointed.

Really a great tea shop that serves high tea on Saturdays with a reservation.
Been trying for a couple years to have high tea but I kept forgetting to make a reservation. Finally remembered and it was worth it. My partner and I both had the royal tea, high tea with Prosecco.

Been a long time since I've walked out of a place so contented. Coffee the way I like, superb Parmesan and leek pastry and a chill atmosphere. Well done.
