Absolutely loved it here. Off season on a Saturday morning, it was one of the few places open but boy, did the visit pay off! Super friendly staff and gorgeous historical building, great coffee, tasty food. They sell day old pastries for a little less, still tasted amazing. I had the crepes with sweet cream cheese and cherry compote - so, so good. I would love to come back when the weather is nicer to check out the namesake courtyard!

Came here for the lunch since I had a few hours to myself. I got the twisted Monte Cristo, hot chocolate and blueberry scone. It was nice to sit outside relaxing and enjoying my lunch. Monday was their Friday so their selection was limited. The twisted Monte Cristo was delicious especially with the raspberry sauce. It added a nice touch to the sandwich. Hot chocolate was wonderful; marshmallow didn't turn out well. The consistency was off. I was looking forward to the marshmallow given other people reviews. The scone was a little bit too sweet for me with the glaze. Overall such a cute Little café in a cute Little Town. Would recommend and plan on coming back.

Our first time trying this place despite passing it many times. It's adorable from the outside and cozy inside. Staff was very friendly. The latte I got had a great flavor and is less bitter than Ground to Perfection, which used to be my favorite. Now this place is.

Delicious! Super fresh, veggies were perfectly cooked and quite a variety. Veggies quiche is the best I've had in a long time. Only one complaint was the wait. Almost 30 min for our food, but the wait is worth the quality.

With tip bill was over $60 for 2 people small portions and just bland food. Bacon Cheddar scone was very greasy, Cinnamon loaf was dry. Found a long brown hair in my food. My husband’s food was such a small portions. I think this place was probably a gem in its day but it really needs an upgrade and increased quality for the price.
Plus when you walk in you order at the counter, coffee and water are self serve. It was freezing inside. It just wasn’t a cozy relaxing destination for a Sunday morning breakfast.

Pleasant stop. In town for lunch. Enjoyed our meal.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessible, but the door is a close fit and the space between tables is narrow. It's all table service, so moving a chair out of the way to make access or a place for a wheelchair at a table works. The streets are all up or down hill. I think there was a public parking area in the back with alley access to Spring Street a few doors down, mostly level.

Great lunch of turkey sandwiches and soup. Smoked salmon chowder by itself was worth the stop. Service was topnotch.

This has the best home town feel. They make their own bread! Sandwiches are soooo good!

Not a place we will return to. It’s so hard to give a bad review when I know the competition is so steep.Cute house, nice outside dining and sitting areas, but just really lacked in the quality of their espresso beverages and the bacon cheddar scone that we had which lacked both bacon and cheddar. On the dry side also. The service was not friendly. I only state these things as constructive criticism not to be harsh or mean. Wishing the best for future success. We love port Townsend.

Wouldn't waste my time at this place or ever support them again. So incredibly rude when I called and inquired about info on THEIR website specifically stating they offer gluten free bread. He goes to ask someone and I hear her say clear as day "we'd just have to buy it", however he comes back and says no, the websites wrong, we can't. And I reiterate what I just heard her say, and he refuses to honor it. What horrible customer service. Buying a loaf of gluten free bread is such an easy and simple thing to do to serve your customers. Lost all my business, that's for sure!
