Stopped in on Thursday, Aug. 15th, after attending the concert on the dock. There were 2 bartenders and 8-10 customers. It took 20 minutes for our party of 2 to be noticed, and another 15 minutes for a couple of drinks to arrive. Bartenders were busy talking with friends. Just before our drinks arrived, a party of 3 of our friends joined us. The bartender brought our original 2 drinks and completely ignored the newly arrived 3 friends. We sipped our drinks thinking surely the bartender would wait on our friends, but never did. We finished our drinks and asked for the check. It never came. Our group finally left and I had to go to the bar and request the bill again. Before tip, it was $40 for 2 martinis- quite steep! Won't be returning and don't recommend this establishment.

There was a vegan bowl on the menu, as well as several other modifible options. Outdoor seating on the ocean. Vegan bowl was ok. Pretty light on the flavor and chips were slyly soggy but would order again and all for a bit more sauce. Updated from previous review on 2024-08-24

Went here a couple of years ago, will definitely be stopping by during an upcoming trip to Seattle. Awesome service, incredible drinks. The pork belly bao blew us away, a must try imo.

Just a cool place to enjoy good quality cocktails and small bites, preferred over Sirens, but

Parking: Usually, parking is more difficult in the afternoons.

No clear sign from the street. Just use the steep stairs to Sirens. Keep looking to the right for the “IB” sign over the door (In Between). I got a fun flaming ? cocktail: Strong and sweet. Only needed 1 for the night. We call the place a “speakeasy” because it seemed like a secret, cozy spot.

A cocktail bar that you might find in the big city. Creative drinks, knowledgeable bartenders. But with the small-town friendliness of Port Townsend.

A speak-easy in Port Towensend! We were looking for a different place to try for pre-dinner drinks, and came across The In Between. It is truly "in between" the Sirens Pub upstairs and the retail space downstairs, and was a little tricky to find. Gad we did - they have a sophisticated cocktail menu and wide selection of liquor, similiar to what you would find in a big-city cocktail bar. Service was quick and attentive, and there was also a small selection of tasty bar snacks (not sufficient to consider as a full meal, however). This was a great find and I am sure we will be back many times.
