My wife and I stopped in and found a friendly down home atmosphere.Our server was friendly and a professional.She kept the coffee topped off and brought the food out piping hot.Food was hot and excellent!Excellent Pies made by a local 92 year old who knows her way around a pie!!We will definitely be going back.

Food was AMAZING so shoutout to the chef.. but $30 for an omelet hashbrowns and grits is crazy!! They also dont take AMEX (but they do, I was told it’s because of all the fees and having to use the zip code or whatever) did not feel very welcoming unfortunately.

Junction Diner is a very small old fashioned Diner. If you want quality food made with love, I recommend this little spot for sure. I had their chicken fried steak and it tasted homemade. Gotta love it!!!

Tiny diner, but really great food. There’s not much seating, and if you don’t get there early enough, you may be waiting a little bit. However, the food is definitely worth it. The sizes are so big they overflow the plate. Even the half sizes are more than enough for a regular adult! (I don’t know who the other person was that left the reviewed compared it to a restaurant in Japan, but having lived there myself, they’re totally different countries and dining experiences. I felt that reviewer did injustice to this diner. If you’re looking for some really wholesome American food, you definitely check out junction diner!!)

Honestly I don’t write reviews but here I am,My wife and I just got back from Japan after living there for a little over half a year due to being forward deployed on an aircraft carrier. We just arrived off the plane and barely starting to adjust to life back in the states. First impressions of the diner was okay, not too busy. We arrived at 6am on 20 MAR 2024, there was only 1 staff member working. Extremely friendly to begin with and welcoming, food was good but as seen in other reviews it’s not anything you couldn’t make at home. After paying we left and we sat outside for a minute and the gentleman working came to our car and started asking us questions about the service and food. Thinking nothing of it we answered his questions and thinking it was all fine, then he asked why we didn’t tip seemingly frustrated. At this point I was shocked because I forgot and I felt bad, after living in Japan for so long we got accustomed to not tipping because it’s wrong to do so there and very impolite. When I tried to explain myself and tip the gentleman for his time and effort in making and serving our food he stormed off like a child without giving me any chance to say anything. Very unsettling and unprofessional at this establishment, even for an honest mistake. If this is the guy reading this, know that there are such thing as foreigners even from another state. Also you never know someone’s situation where they might not even be able to afford a tip, it’s extremely rude to go out to the persons car and ask them why they didn’t give you more money.
This is quintessential diner experience at it's best. Always busy, great portion sizes, super friendly staff.

This was the best breakfast ever 10/10 you got to come if you want to say you have really lived . Ps the loggers omelet is big but it is amazing like two meals in one ?Kid-friendliness: It's a small place so they really can't go any where but in all it is a really nice place
