We decided to return to Desert Wind to celebrate my birthday, as we had enjoyed it so much last year, same time. (Mid September.) We were disappointed to learn that they are no longer offering the "small room service breakfast" as part of their package but didn't know that until we checked in... Came for lunch. They changed the menu a bit but the flatbreads were great. They also offered kids menu and the large courtyard allowed kiddos to stretch their legs. I recommend the Rhua blend wine.
The bad: we arrived an hour before check in but were not allowed to check in early despite the place not being full and the room almost certainly being cleaned. Not a huge deal but would have been nice.
The “view” is nothing like their pics. You can get a slight glimpse of the river...
