We were traveling from WA to ID. Stopped at the Desert Inn on the way, couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The room was wonderful. The wine was great, some very similar to what we experienced while living in the wine country of Sonoma. Can’t say enough about the staff, so very accommodating. We were just sorry that we were there only one night. Will differently stay again when we travel to ID to see the grandkids and family.
Honestly this place is in need of an identity. It feels like they aren’t sure what they want to be and it shows at the point of entry. Signs are covered by bushes. The front entry is like an after thought. Not inviting or easy to follow. Once you open the big doors you see this amazing dining area and wine tasting bar, but from the outside I almost turned around and left. We recently hosted our annual awards celebration for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Central Washington Real Estate at Desert Wind Winery, and it was nothing short of fantastic! The ambiance and atmosphere were absolutely perfect for our Cowgirl/Cowboy Chic themed evening—warm, welcoming, and beautifully styled.
