The Roto is a very stereotypical place for dining hall food - it’s designed to be mass produced, cheap, and easy to eat. I’ve never been blown away by any of my meals… they’re often bland or just lacking in flavor. However, the food is cheap, there’s usually a consistent selection, and the service is always adequate.
The food was good and the service was very courteous. There were lots of options. The process to bus your own table was a little chaotic because it was very crowded, but I would definitely go back.
Everything is really really good (except the pizza… weird!). Lots of options, and you can check the menu online. Sometimes meals are really cheap, sometimes they are really expensive. It balances out. Most staff are great, other don’t want to help and don’t care.
