Two years in a row we’ve had amazing treats for our son’s birthday from Sugar Babe Bakery! Our guests were impressed and thought they were just as great to look at as they were to eat. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for custom made baked goods especially if you need vegan or allergy friendly options. 😋

Mel is one of the sweetest humans and I love her business! She made me this awesome pride and prejudice cake for a birthday of mine, AND she did a mini impromptu photo shoot for me!! Her chocolate and cookie butter cake was phenomenal, and I always love her brown butter cookies.

I tried this place a several times, but everything so far has tasted exactly the same - sugar, sugar, more sugar. I don’t know id it’s because American bakeries are hyperfocused on making their goods as sweet as possible, but there is no other flavor that is strong enough to break through the generic sweetness of their pastries. The texture is pretty good for being gluten free, but it would be nice to have lower sugar options that actually tastes like something.
