I ordered the Kungpao Chicken and it was comforting, warm, and flavorful! I got a great portion for the price that I’ll be able to stretch for a couple meals. Although with the way it’s going there might not be any left tomorrow. Customer service was welcoming and friendly. “I’m excited to return, hungry for more” -Anton ego (ratatouille)
Terrible Food! They also charge for rice separately (doesn't come with the dish)...Never seen that before at an Asian restaurant.

Listen up, Pullman. Y’all are out here lining up for the same boring drive-thru garbage like it’s the second coming of sliced bread, while Emerald Asian Fusion is sitting right here in town serving straight-up culinary gold. And you clowns are sleeping on it. Shame. Absolute shame.
This spot? It’s the real deal. I’m talking food that slaps harder than a hungover cougar on game day. Curries? Rich and bold. Noodles? Perfectly sauced like they just came off a cooking show. Sushi? Fresh enough to make you double-check you’re still in Pullman and not some swanky Seattle joint. Every plate is loaded, beautiful, and built to crush your hunger in one sitting.
And here’s the kicker: the pricing is straight-up criminal—in the best way possible. You could throw down the same cash at some greasy burger chain for food that tastes like cardboard, or you could waltz in here and feast like royalty for basically the same cost. Students whining about being broke? Shut it. This place proves you can eat like a champ without torching your wallet.
The restaurant itself? Clean enough you could eat off the floors (but don’t, because they’ve got tables, and we’re not animals). The vibe is modern, welcoming, and chill enough for anything—date nights, family dinners, or rolling deep with your whole crew. And the staff? These folks treat you like you’re actually worth their time. Polite, fast, and they don’t act like they’re doing you a favor just by existing—unlike half the service in this town.
So here’s the deal: stop whining that Pullman doesn’t have good restaurants. It does. You’re just ignoring them. Emerald Asian Fusion is the best-kept secret around, and if you haven’t tried it yet, that’s on you. Go get yourself a plate, order something wild, and then come back here and thank me for dragging you out of your flavorless rut.
Because let’s be real: if you’re still skipping Emerald, you’re not “supporting local,” you’re just supporting your own bad decisions.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Horrible experience! Food was cooked terribly. The rice was day old and hardened. sweet and sour shrimp was just fried shrimp with a dipping sauce slapped on. Fries were wet and soggy with no seasoning. When food issue was addressed and we claimed we did not want it anymore (nothing said about money) our server disappeared for 20 minutes. She obviously went back and told the “manager”, and still the manager came out asking if we’d like to go boxes after we just stated we weren’t happy with the food. The manager then decided to explain the food to us like we couldn’t see it and when we asked where our server went she immediately shut down our question and said we still have to pay full price. Paying wasn’t even the problem we were not accommodated properly and when we made concerns they were blatantly ignored. The manager was very disrespectful and kept saying how they have never had a bad review in years which couldn’t possibly be true if they served the same food we received… Very disappointing experience -10/10 rating!

The customer service was amazing in the beginning. We ordered our food, received it and were completed disheartened. Nothing was made correctly, flavor was not even close to expectation. We told the server, she went to get the manager which was probably the owner. We expressed our disappointment and dissatisfaction. She had a nasty attitude and said “YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR IT!” Didn’t give us the option to try something else or anything. We asked why the server never came back, again the manager was very nasty asking “what do you want to talk her again for?” They don’t have a sushi cook, that’s initially, why we we went into eat at the restaurant. I wish they had a -10 stars I could add to this because that was unacceptable.

Started with the Hot and Sour soup. To me, it seemed more like Sweet and Sour. Also had the House Chow Mein. Pretty good. Even better after I added the chili oil and hot mustard!

This place was good, a rather standard American Asian restaurant. We ate in which I don't think anyone else has done in months. The staff was very kind and helpful, and the portions were large and served hot. The food was ok, when you're in the mood for Chinese this is a decent option.

Got the beef teriyaki dish and it tasted great! Portions were large too so I had some leftovers for lunch the following day.

My daughter and I were visiting from Spokane and having eaten there 20 years ago, decided to go again. This is the best food I have ever had and the service was superb. We will be back but won't wait 20 years. Thank you Emerald💕

Restaurantji Recommends
Me and my husband went there for lunch because we never been and we were very disappointed. The food was ok kinda bland. My husband sea weed salad was frozen when he got it which meant it wasn’t fresh. And the cabbage that came with my bento box tasted like dirt. We will not be going back.

The Emerald has a great potential for improvisation. I would not recommend this place, rather opt for other Chinese restaurants. The chicken was okay, Singapore noodles were decent not great.
