I don't usual do a review if the restaurant isn't great. In this case I am because on Easter 2024 we had the Easter Buffet, and it was really good, so we decided to come back for 2025. First, we were seated in the tent section when half the tables were empty in the buffet area. Our reservation was at 1:45pm for 5 people. I waited for ever for scrambled eggs, the sausage wasn't cooked very well. There was not the variety that they had in 2024. And by the time we were back at our table the food was completely cold. The pastries that were left were not a good assortment. The iced tea was seriously like mud it was so thick. No carrot cake which is one of the reason's we came. They had a lot in the buffet last year. Our bill with tax and tip was over $400.00. The price was quite an increase from last year. We don't mind paying a little more for a holiday dinner if it is awesome. This Easter it wasn't worth that amount of money. I don't know that we will be back next year. I hope farm 12 improves especially since they do events all year round. They know how to make a great buffet because they did in 2024.
We went to Farm 12 for Easter, there were 8 people in our group. Remember that this was a buffet where you serve yourselves. We were charged a 20% gratuity which was over $100.00. The person that was presumably serving us had to be reminded that we asked for our coffee and soda to be refilled multiple times and the used plates were left sitting on the table. That did not help me to feel comfortable with a tip that large. And honestly the there was less food than last year and really not even worth the $60 asking price. Very disappointed - will look for something better next Easter or cook wonderful food at home!!
Food was delicious and so fresh! The service was great! Just love this farm to table experience. It made for a great date night. My husband and I look forward to coming back and telling others.
