Update, 4 years later, this family-owned Chinese-teriyaki-sushi restaurant is still my son and I favorite restaurant of all time! Always great food, quality ingredients, and the freshest Sushi!! Please try their wide variety of sushi, with a menu that easily reads each ingredient for each roll. It's the husband's corridor, who takes pride in fresh and quality product!! Lunch special - get two sushi rolls for the price of one.

I've worked at a sushi place on Mercer Island for almost five years but live a few blocks from Ichiban. I recently quit working, due to health reasons, and have been craving sushi. Is it as good as where I've been working? No, but it is nothing to snuff at. The prices are AMAZING though. I'm used to sushi being $10-$23 per roll. At Ichiban you get two for $15 and there is a huge variety to choose from. I got a spicy roll and a roll with shrimp tempura in it. The tempura was good and I'll definitely be going back. For sushi in Puyallup you really can't beat them. The people there are super nice as well!

By far the best sushi and miso soup I've ever had in my life. Got two special rolls, the albacore and the Hawaiian and then a third one I can't remember the name of! Literally the freshest fish and best tasting sauces. Extremely clean inside. Sweetest lady who I'm assuming owns it. Just go... you will not be disappointed
Drove bye this place plenty of times but never bothered to check it out. I did today and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Owners were great, sushi was great, found my go to place for sushi. Give them a shot you won’t be disappointed.
