First of all, the food here is outstanding. I read these reviews and I'm a bit surprised and sad that other people have not gotten great food. I will say that teriyaki in this area is pretty competitive. Heck, another teriyaki shop opened up 2 mi away and before they even open their doors (under construction no less)they had 200 positive reviews, (And were so for 2 months). I've been going here for years. Sometimes it's hard to understand the owner as English is...
Ok, ok - so the service isn't perfect, and theres a bit of a language barrier at times.
However we don't care.
THE FOOD IS THAT GOOD. We eat there 3-4 times a month and are NEVER disappointed.

The portions are generous, and the owners are incredibly warm and welcoming. You truly get great value for your money, and the food is always delicious. I genuinely enjoy visiting this place. Please remember that the owners are elderly and speak English as their second language, so their communication might sometimes come across as curt. Keep in mind that they are still learning, just like many of us, and their kindness shines through.
