The portions are generous, and the owners are incredibly warm and welcoming. You truly get great value for your money, and the food is always delicious. I genuinely enjoy visiting this place. Please remember that the owners are elderly and speak English as their second language, so their communication might sometimes come across as curt. Keep in mind that they are still learning, just like many of us, and their kindness shines through.
Was a little anxious to try this spot as the reviews were a mixed bag, but I’m real glad I did. Pick up order was ready quickly, and super tasty food- love the way they prepare the cabbage, chicken had a great char and gyozas were perfectly crisp. Yakisoba had more veggies than other restaurants around the area. The lady was very nice on the phone and in person (and I ordered close to 7pm). Food is great. Love it very much. We always order to-go, we never eat in. The phone service is rude and short. They don’t ever take a to-go phone order after 7pm on a regular weekday. Just say the restaurant closes at 7pm. Google says 7:30. Get everyone excited for the best Chicken Katsu in the town and then say “No! We’re closed!” At 7:10pm. Lame…
