My husband and I come here almost every week as our date night. Everything we’ve had is delicious, but our favorite dish is the fire pasta. If you like spicy, you’re going to love it! It goes great with one of their IPA’s. The employees are awesome and they make us feel special.

This was a great choice. The key lime martini was an amazing treat after a wonderful Asian chicken salad. Oh, and the deep-fried pickle appetizer was delicious.

Wonderful old time real powerhouse with cool date period electronic gauges and gadgets on the wall. The service was generous and the food tasted fantastic. I definitely will come back

Discovered this place by the coincidence of having my car serviced next door, and with time to kill in mid-afternoon, I tried their beer selection (the Blond on tap was great) and some fried pickles, which really go with beer. The place is cool, the food and beer were great, but the best part was the bartender, who managed a great conversation while she diligently washed glasses and prepared the restaurant for influx of dinner time customers. Very pleasant experience.

From years of enjoying Powerhouse, my thoughts have changed.
Service and beer are always great! The food... I used to tell people of the quality of food, however that has changed dramatically! smaller portions, overcooked and not stocked items? Obviously the kitchen has new people, and it shows. Please get it together soon as many other options await.

The Powerhouse is a great place to come and have a great lunch and a microbrew. They offer around 10 different types of beer. I ordered a Scotch Ale with a high ABV. My son ordered a Classic hamburger and only bought Garlic fries. They really pile on the fries.

My best friend took me out to dinner at the Powerhouse today. We had a wonderful, delicious meal, Chicken Bacon Ranch Katsu burger with fries and my friend added a side Caesar salad. Portions are generous and oh sooo good! Scott P. is a great server, courteous, helpful and cheerful. It's a pleasure all around. Happy hour everyday 3pm to 6pm

Had lunch here yesterday! Such a cool place, loved the atmosphere. Had one issue with a plate and the management was above and beyond kind and accommodating about it. Pesto chicken flatbread was our favorite. Would return!

We had a wonderful lunch at the powerhouse and were served by a very attentive and kind staff. Our waiter in particular went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We came in on a Saturday for lunch and were sat quickly and were checked on many times throughout our meal. A great place to meet with friends and family.

I first stopped at the PowerHouse on a random whim to have a drink. One day I had food and a couple of beers at the bar. It is a very interesting building and it used to house. I believe a power plant. If I'm not mistaken it has some of the history posted around. They Brew some awesome beers. They have a nice selection of choices but not too many to overwhelm you. Brew some awesome beers. They have a nice selection of choices but not too many to overwhelm you. I actually tasted the first IPA that I've ever liked in this place! Great bartenders. Very personable staff. Warm friendly atmosphere but not too crowded. They have a game upstairs. I believe it is shuffleboard and the architecture inside is pretty cool. I love the fact that they Brew their own beer and they have a pretty decent menu. The food is not super spectacular, but it's definitely good and you a good amount of choice on the menu entrees and your average bar food as well. I definitely suggest going there. Parking is a bit tricky as you are coming in off of a main Street but there is additional overflow parking nearby. Perfect! Puyallup gem!

Kid-friendliness: This is somewhere that I could see taking a child to eat dinner with you. It doesn't get rowdy and the people that I've encountered here are well behaved. It's a cross between a neighborhood bar field and restaurant.

Beware of unannounced closures, especially on Thursdays. Otherwise, I really like this place. Good food, good beer, very good burgers, excellent BLT with aïoli (garlic mayonnaise), good fish tacos. Attentive service with good listening skills. Two wall televisions are captioned, so, for a place of this sort, conversation is relatively easy. Don't miss their seasonal rye beer when available. Much quieter than nearby options, despite the trains. Just be sure they are open if planning to go there (that's why 3 stars overall, despite 4 stars in each subcategory).

Parking: A few extra places between the building and the RR tracks.

Wheelchair accessibility: Nominally wheelchair accessible, but the lift is key operated on request by calling them (phone number is posted). I have never used this feature.
