Nestled close to Olympic National Park in Quilcene, there is a gem of a coffee shop. Catkin Coffee Shop is quaint, cozy, and eclectic. The macadamia latte was lovely and luscious. We shared a gluten free, lemony almond cake and a delicious gf/vegan fig bar. Yum! Excellent customer service from a knowledgeable staff member. Topped it off by wandering through the garden on the way out! #pnwcoffeetour
Everything about my experience was fantastic! Friendly staff and owner. Plus the coffee with top shelf! Their beans are also worth bringing home!!!! A lovely surprise along my drive!

As I passed through Quilcene this year, I had to stop by and be sure to get the Baklava latte with macadamia milk, as recommended by them last time.
It was just as delicious and they were nice enough to share the house made syrup recipe so I can give it to my friend who runs Piper's Cafe in Aloha, Oregon. Another small business and female...
