“Had a fabulous lunch at Murphy's Corner Coffee Co. today! I had the Corner Kick panini and it was perfect! loved the bread (not too thick or hard, but crispy) and the pesto mayo was delicious!!! Hubby had a turkey sandwich and could only eat half (it was great too-I tried a bite)! We split a maple bar for dessert and it was wonderful! Got a coffee for the road and it was perfect too! A great place to stop, clean, friendly staff, and wonderful owners! I highly recommend stopping by the next time you're going through the George area!“

“This was my very first time trying Pita Pit, and honestly, it impressed me so much that we ended up coming back again the very next day 😄🥙. The food was fresh, tasty, and exactly what I didn’t know I was craving! Everything was prepared quickly, and the whole experience felt smooth from start to finish ⏱️✨. On top of that, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel taken care of right away 🙌. Great service plus delicious food is always a winning combo — no surprise we couldn’t resist returning twice in a row 😋.“
“I attended a wine and small plates food event. Every wine, both whites and reds were remarkable, joined perfectly with eats by Smoke Blossom Catering in Wenatchee. Go see Megan and Rob in Quincy... You'll love the chill and friendly ambiance and delicious wines!“
“Jake’s Meats is a wonderful local store in Quincy with a lot to offer. Their meat selection is excellent—especially the Rollos Preparados, which are great for grilling. They also make some of the best carnitas around, tender and full of flavor.
This place is open for breakfast! They serve Huevos Rancheros, Chilaquiles, and a Bacon or Chorizo Breakfast Burrito. They also serve a variety of dishes including tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and tortas. Their horchata is consistently good, and there’s usually something on the menu for everyone.
Beyond food, Jake’s Meats carries a surprising range of essential household items. You’ll find cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, toiletries, as well as groceries like coffee, flour, sugar, oil, mayo, ketchup, and more. They also stock disposable plates, cups, napkins, ice, beer, and mixers, which is especially convenient if you’re preparing for a get-together. They even have chargers available at the register, which is a thoughtful touch if you're in a bind.
Over the years, the owners have always been kind and helpful, which makes a big difference in a small town. It’s clear they care about offering both quality food and useful items for the community.
If you live nearby or are passing through, it’s definitely worth stopping in to see what they have.“

“Sat with Cameron one of the owners at our tasting. It ended up being a great time. We learned about the vineyard, what sets this winery apart, and their family history. The tasting room size gives an intimate feel, and the wines taste great. Their blends are unique and I highly recommend the Malbec. I highly recommend getting here while you’re in the Gorge/Quincy area.“

“Went to Phoenix pizza today. A new discovery for us. Drove from Quincy, 20 minutes. What a discovery. This may be the best pizza I have ever had. Had the supreme. I would recommend Phoenix Pizza if you want the best. Don’t miss out on this gem. Oh and the Thai chicken wings were off the chart. Don’t forget donut holes or cinnamon buns.“
