O.M.G???? Waitress was great customers were hilarious... I love home town cafe's... OH did I say the food was excellent and the AMOUNT of food was WELL WORTH THE STOP???
One fellow working the whole place. Did ok, but service was a bit slow because, well, he's only one guy. Food a touch overcooked. Coffee ok. Great selection on the menu, though.
Good food. Small town cafe..good coffee joint. Friendly staff .
Fine Country Eating that has really changed with the times. If you are visiting the area, give the place a try.
Now Sheila's, if like fish flavored everything this is the place for you.
I've been eating there several times a month for the past 2 years, food isn't bad, service was friendly, however after stopping in to see if I could buy a few jelly packs (you know instead of ordering something cheap and taking them), for my friends 4 day train trip with pb&j sandwiches, I was told No, I could buy a case of them. Sad, cos I needed 8 packs max. Customer care is the 1st line of defense when trying to maintain a successful business, and after that I will never spend another nickel in there. The waitress was so apologetic making sure I knew that it wasn't her, but the Owner.
Corner Cafe is open, breakfast and lunch, late on Fri.and Sat. Good food, under new management and newly renovated.
Friendly service and a good home cooked meal.
Best veggie omelette I have had in awhile. The happy smile scrub on the waitress definitely added extra smiles around the room. Great service!
“Corner Cafe†Food is average and service is fine. Decor is old and unappealing with old, smelly carpet and sunken booth seats. Food is served on plastic plates.

This is now Sheila's Country Kitchen and the food is great. The Prawns were excellent.
Bad food made by a cook that obviously doesn't care about what he is doing. Listening to him whine in the kitchen didn't really help either.
Driving through and was open nice and early. Super friendly, good food. Clean awesome locals.
We had a delicious and huge brunch -- great hash browns, sausage, bacon, all the important food groups. And delicious fresh biscuits. A great stop in the old downtown neighborhood.
While passing through Raymond my wife and I stopped in for breakfast. The eggs Benedict was perfect and the hash browns were golden. Coffee was decent and the prices were good too. Bathroom was clean but unisex. Sometimes an owner just doesn't have a choice. Perhaps it is the new owner but we did not experience any of the foul language or bigotry mentioned in a previous post. We would stop in again.
