“Today, 12/23/2023, between 12 pm and 1 pm, an older woman with short white was ordering multiple sandwiches. The younger man was making her order, I am so shocked by the level of patience he had for this woman. Micromanaging every part of his job, this young man was alone running this store and has always made my food correctly when I am visiting my family who are locals here. My brother, next in line, watched and listened to this older woman, who kept cutting off my brother from giving his order when her order was clearly in the correct process of getting done. She wanted less meat than usual; she got rude, saying, "THAT'S ENOUGH MEAT," very loud where I could hear her, and I was nowhere near the counter. My brother was amazed by how well this man did his job while being belittled by an older woman who I am sure lives here locally. Sorry, I do not believe anyone, regardless of age or gender, should be criticized. He cut her sandwiches in her weird measurements and moved the onions a million times so they were all lined up on the bread right, and it, like, honestly, if someone is going to be that OCD about their food, maybe you should just cut it at home or make the food at home. Then this woman, on her way to the car, says she will call to complain about it because she is a regular. THAT IS UNFAIR! Expected or not, the man did his job to the T, and with amazing stars, I had to leave a review. I should have gotten his name because I would work with him any day of the week. He was respected even when asking the older woman to wait. I have a cousin who is a store manager in Flordia, and normally, they tell someone like that to leave if they are going to be that rude to their employees. I hope this store manager is like my cousin and doesn't just throw their employees under the bus for a regular who is being extremely rude and having a lousy holiday. I want to be able to come back to visit and see the same younger employees still working after six months.”

“First time visiting Home Slice. Wife and I got a small Mediterranean with pesto sauce and two drinks. We found the wait staff friendly and the establishment clean. Our pizza was great! The pesto was not super strong, which made the fresh artichoke hearts and crisp veggies pop in our mouths.As we wrapped up our meal the owners came over and we had a great conversation! Our experience seems like the epitome of home town feels with good service. We plan on going back soon!”

“We love this McDonald's! It's a consistent stop on our way down to the Oregon coast. We appreciate that we consistently get good service when we visit. On our most recent trip, we also enjoyed chatting to some of the locals, who all seemed to know each other. It's a nice atmosphere to be in. The staff members were lovely and helpful. Everyone's food tasted great, and our order was correct.”

I didn't know rice could be so flavorful, but it was in this burrito. The off-menu fish tacos were also delicious. They each came with huge chunks of avocado. The service was also incredibly friendly and patient. If we didn't live so far, I'd be here all the time.”

“If you're rolling through South Bend, make it a point to stop here. The food is deeeeeeelicious! Everything is battered and fried, but it wasn't greasy or heavy. There was the perfect amount of batter on our fish, oysters, and shrimp. The french fries were also cooked to perfection - not a single limp fry in the basket. I'll definitely stop here again the next time I'm in the area.”

“Visiting from Portland saw that this restaurant served BBQ oysters. Had to come see. Our wonderful host was outside cooking the oysters in the shell. Opened them cooked and finished with homemade bbq sauce was simply amazing. Homemade big bowl of clam chowder that was better than any we've had. Also we had a burger have to say it was great I don't eat the bun and this meat was so well seasoned! Seriously go here. My atmosphere rating is just 3 for just maybe need a little freshen up and a little radio playing in the background. But totally irrelevant..”
