Passing through town while heading up the coast and stopped for lunch. Great club sandwich and a dark beer, fast service. Was very happy with the experience and will stop again should I be passing through.

The Pitchwood Inn is delightful and rustic right next to the Pitchwood Alehouse. We love being close to a small town bar with kind people!

My family and I stayed at Pitchwood Inn a couple of weeks ago and had an enjoyable stay. We were traveling from the Oregon coast up to Olympic Nat'l Park and this spot fit our travel time perfectly. We arrived around 7 pm and checked in at the bar with Spencer. We had 2 rooms - #1 and #5. # 5 is the room with the mail slot in the door. I had read previous reviews that had security concerns about the slot but we did not feel it was an issue. The slot is pretty small and I'm sure if it was an issue the owners would seal it. Our rooms had a fun & unique decor. Best way I can describe it is antique meets logging camp. :) Nothing fancy, but the rooms where clean and the beds were comfortable. We stayed on a Thursday night so the bar and inn were quiet. We did eat at the Alehouse. Food overall was good, and Spencer was a great bartender and waiter.Friday morning as we were leaving, we ran into one of the owners. She was so friendly and helpful when we asked for a good place for breakfast. She told us the story of how her, her husband and son bought and remodeled the Inn. Nice to see an owner out there helping to clean rooms and be on site. Overall it was a nice, clean place to stay.

This is a one of a kind winner! Great food, great staff, great music and fantastic rooms! The workmanship is very well done on the place. They used a lot of repurposed materials and it turned out great. Do not miss it!Rooms: Each room has its own theme and the amenities are great.Nearby activities: It is an easy walk from the alehouse to anywhere in the town. Check out the carriage museum. Pretty cool.Safety: Very safe areaWalkability: All level ground and plenty to see in town.Food & drinks: The oysters were great, so were the drinks. Try the Manhattan!
