Dough Zone Dumpling House

I must have come at a bad time. I was picking up an order we made online, and it was very busy. One server seemed overwhelmed and was quite rude, but another server was super sweet and prompt. I suggest going at off peak hours.

We ordered dumplings and noodles and some milk tea drinks. The Ube Milk Tea was soooo good, and usually I don't even care for ube. The soup dumplings were exactly what we wanted. The noodles were not. They were not inedible, but I will definitely not order noodles from there again.

It seems like quality varies from location to location, but overall this food has pretty good flavors, but the shop and staff could use a refresher so it doesn't seem as relaxed here.

Ordered the pork and shrimp dumplings. They were upside down and all stuck together which I've never seen or experienced. There was no vinegar or soy dipping sauce which was also disappointing. The smell was off-putting as well. Definitely would recommend other places to this.

Food was ok, but staff and service was poor. In the end I paid using gift card and there was not an option for tip. After I left and about to sit in car, one of restaurant employees comes and asks you didn’t pay tip. Very embarrassing. I wasn’t sure tips are mandatory. Also If they expect tip, why don’t make an option to pay tip a using gift card

Great service and food

My wife and her friend had a very unpleasant experience with a server at this Redmond location.
After paying with a Costco gift card, the server rudely demanded a cash tip, spoke disrespectfully when they didn’t understand right away, and even made an offensive comment about my wife’s country. Very unprofessional and disappointing.
I just hope the management works on improving the service, because such good food deserves the same level of respect and professionalism.

Dough Zone has deteriorated massively since I first ate here in 2018. The food tastes much more like something you would find in the frozen goods section of a grocery store than real authentic food. However, that is besides the point. Today when I went to this Dough Zone location, I ordered take out, which they said would take twenty minutes. However, I had to wait for FOURTY minutes to get my lunch. That is unacceptable. I hope that this problem is only for the Redmond location and is only a one time thing, however, I will definitely remember this experience when i consider eating here again. Do better Dough Zone.

Honestly my favorite dimsum/small plates place. Good portions and pretty reasonable prices. The soup dumplings are delicious, and the chicken wonton soup is very authentic.
