Usually go to Five Guys for Shakes. Went in here for a Shake and the guy who took my order was just full of energy and so enthusiastic. Though I spent like 5 minutes inside, it was really nice to experience that energy!

Food is good. Some of the employees are toxic though. On the evening of 5/28, the guy working the register was a jerk: no greeting, was rushing us, refused to ring up 2 orders of fries because he insisted the better order according to him was to only get one order of fries. Dude was muttering to himself, drumming loudly on the counter while we ordered, and shouted loud at maximum volume to the kitchen staff. A lot of eye rolling at us, a lot of sighing — seriously dude, get over yourself, don't take your miserable day out on the world around you.

Guy has zero clue how to conduct himself professionally. If he's working, I'll steer clear from going in, that's how aggressive and uncaring he was.

Let me just start by saying this: if Jamal J. is working, do yourself a favor — turn around and walk out. I’ve never experienced someone less interested in doing their job, much less interacting like a decent human being.

I walked in ready to order a milkshake and some fries, just hoping for a chill, quick visit. Instead, I got met with pure attitude and zero effort. I asked Jamal a simple, normal question — “What would you recommend?” — and instead of being remotely helpful or even pretending to care, he just shrugged and gave me a half-mumbled, robotic list: “Chocolate, caramel, strawberry.” That’s it. No tone, no suggestion, no eye contact — just vibes of “why are you even talking to me?”

I tried to clarify, like “Alright, what’s your favorite?” and he just looked at me like I was the dumbest person alive. No answer. Just sitting there like a bored teenager forced to be at a family dinner. At that point, I said “Never mind,” because clearly, me asking for help was an inconvenience.

What’s wild is that the bar is so low for decent customer service. I wasn’t asking for anything over the top — just basic human decency. But Jamal couldn’t even fake that. The whole interaction made me feel like I was annoying him just for being there. He didn’t care, didn’t want to help, and made it obvious.

If Five Guys is okay with this kind of treatment, that’s a red flag. I’ve had better interactions with self-checkout machines.

Hire people who actually want to be there. Or at least train them to act like it.

I accidentally ordered from the wrong store, and when I called to cancel my order I was told rudely that it was already made nothing he could do for me, and then HUNG UP on me! I'm sure the food is five guys quality, but the service was terrible.

Came in in order a medium fry and soft drink. The employees were nice. I got the food and had to leave. When I got in the car. The fries were not cooked. End up having to throw them away. They were still raw. It was very disappointing.

The best burger joint around! The workers are friendly & welcoming! BUT the price for lunch is WAY too expensive, a soda costs $4 and for fries $6 and $12 for a little burger. I can only afford to go occasionally coz it costs to much but I do love it!

Love the food! Huge fan of the fries especially. But I came here today to specifically shout out Jamal. On multiple occasions I've come in to order and he has been so exceptionally helpful and friendly! Really helps with the social anxiety to have someone patient and conversational to help the process. Outside of that the team appears to have great communication on the line and food comes out quickly and quality. Extra shout out to the guy on fries (I believe his name is Jose) because these Cajun fries are always well seasoned and cooked perfectly. 10/10 all around.

I recently visited this five guys and had a fantastic experience. The service was impressively quick, and the food was top-notch as always. Super Juicy burger! What stood out to me the most was the cashiers attitude, the gentleman with the muscles. He was well composed and genuinely attentive. He didn't over-exaggerate his role as most cashiers do but still made sure everything was perfect for me. It made the entire visit pleasant and enjoyable. Highly recommend!
