This place is GOOD, but NOT a Japanese Steakhouse. Unfortunately this place follows the trend of calling itself something that it's not and that's why it receives 3 stars in my book. If they were to rebrand themselves then I would increase to 4 stars. In reality at this restaurant they bring your order out on a hot skillet still sizzling. There's something so viscerally pleasing about cooking your own food in a sizzling hot cast iron skillet. But this place is not without its faults. The skillet goes from burning hot to lukewarm in 30 seconds flat, so it's a mad rush to sear all your meat in time to prevent salmonella (even tougher if you're trying to take a picture haha). Wasn't sure what to expect from this place, because I've heard mixed reviews. I ordered the steak and pork belly combo with noodles instead of rice. I loved it!! I love that the food is served in hot plates to cook and keep the food hot. The sauce choices was yummy!
