Jack's BBQ - Bellevue | Redmond

I have known about Jack's barbecue for a couple years now. Always wanted to go there, but never had the opportunity until yesterday. I saw an advertisement on TV that showed their huge beef rib and Thursdays It's the special so I thought I would give it a try. First of all it is $69 for one nice sized rib and no accompanying sides. I had a side of macaroni which was about six dollars. Add in two old fashions and the total bill came to $114. The rib was delicious however a little too smoky for me, but I like the fact they didn't have any barbecue sauce on it. I will probably go back but I will definitely eat something different as this was not worth $69 in my opinion.

First time diners at Jack's. Pleasant surroundings and friendly staff greeters. Seating tended to clog aisles as more people arrived. Server was excellent: friendly, chatty, willing to recommend, checked often on our satisfaction. The food itself was both better than expected (prime rib, corn bread) and worse (cole slaw). Will order more traditional BBQ next time. Definitely worth a return trip.

Over 7 minutes to be greeted at the table. Had to ask where our drink was after entrees had already arrived. Food left much to be desired.

So our group of 8 had lunch on a Sunday at Jack's BBQ. Our group ordered different menu items and got to try a variety of dishes including the brisket, pulled pork, sausage, pork ribs, chicken and diff sides. We found the brisket the best tasting, the pulled pork and sausages were very good as well; the ribs and chicken were tasty but not as moist as we hoped. Of course maybe because some of us are coming from Texas, visiting Washington and wanting to check out this restaurant. The service was excellent- we had Mike serve our group and he was fantastic! The restaurant was not noisy at all, and allowed us to have a very nice get together. We highly recommend Jacks if you're looking for a bbq place in Washington!

Our table of 5 had 3 different orders, 1 large barbecue dinner shared among 3 of us, included corn on the cob, chicken, 2 types of sausages, pulled pork, ribs and all the fixin's (onions, pickles and white bread). We also had some health conscious 1/2 lb of pulled pork (no bread), and the other meal was a pulled pork sandwich with cornbread (delicious and huge portions).

Excellent service from Elizabeth! She was so friendly and attentive! I ordered brisket with mac & cheese and potato salad and my friend ordered the bacon & blues burger with a brisket add on and talk about mouth watering! We also ordered the fried pickle jar and highly recommend that appetizer! We saved our leftovers for the next day and it went just as hard! Amazing hospitality from this establishment and the vibe was so country it felt like we were back home in Texas! Don’t skip out on the banana pudding and a big thank you to management and the cooks who help keep the place running smooth!

Highly recommend the cornbread!!! The staff are very friendly and lots of choices. Great option for Father's Day evening.

We LOVE Jack's! Great bbq, wonderful service, and tasty beverages! We had delicious steaks on 4/30 and they were AMAZING!! Colon's service was fabulous, and our entire experience was lovely. Thanks Jack's!!

What is the point of smoking your barbecue for 16 hours if you’re going to serve it just slightly above room temperature? Having grown up in Texas I may have a slightly higher standard for what makes BBQ good, but, serving dry lukewarm meat and calling it Texas style BBQ is pretty disappointing.

We love BBQ and this was delicious!! Katsumi the manager is so friendly and welcoming! Our server was friendly and helpful and the restaurant was packed. My husband ordered the rib eye steak special and it was cooked to perfection and DELICIOUS! The sides are so good too...we ordered queso Mac n cheese, Brussel sprouts, garlic mashed potatoes and the Texas chili. Just super tasty for a reasonable price. Going to take family there next week!

Just ate at Lakewood…. Shelby and Johnny took GREAT care of us..good food and time :)
