Where is the new location.????
I wanted something small and savory after a chiro appointment and this place was great! There's a lot of good options in this lot, but for quick, tasty and a great value the bakery is wonderful! You really cannot beat the price. I got the new king mushroom bao which was savory and had crunchy, chewy bits (really good texture). The pork and chives was very classic and had plenty of big chopped chives. I look forward to trying their pickled sides as well.

I've been here 10+ times and gotten the bao every time. It's good but the price is exceptional. Best deal you can get in Bellevue
I was going for a walk and was hungry, but not hungry enough for a whole meal. I was walking past Oh Wheat and decided to peek in the window. The interior was plain, with handwritten labels and bleeding ink helping to differentiate all the non-descript and uniform-looking buns. I was glad the labels had an English translation, otherwise I would have been guessing by the pictures. I asked a few questions to the shop owner, to which every answer was just, "yes" with a smile. I knew this place was going to be legit then. I grabbed a pair of self-serve, plastic tongs from the rack, pinched a hefty bun, and lifted it into my compostable clamshell. It was only two and change including tip for a pork and onion. I thanked the shop owner and stepped outside, looking for a place to sit. I thought about waiting to eat it once I'd gotten home, where I'd have soy sauce and black vinegar, but I didn't want to wait. I sat on a padded, rectangular seat in front of the closed, next-door optometrist and popped open my clamshell. Impressed by the size and weight of the bun, I let my incisors press into the dough and tried to imagine I was one of those characters in a Miyazaki film. I bit into the hot and moist center and chewed. I quickly took another bite to confirm what I was feeling inside: this was the best bun I've ever had in my life, and I've been to Japan, China, Dough Zone, Din Tai Fung - you name it -- this bun dominated all of them. I happily finished my bun and went right back into Oh Wheat and ordered two more. It's currently 9:15 am while I'm writing this review and it's making me check what time Oh Wheat opens because maybe I'll go back again today.

Edit: I went back, told them about what happened and showed them the picture, and they gave me replacement food, which did not contain any foreign bodies. I will be going back for more in the future.Original: I got tofu and shredded potatoes today. The taste is great, but there are plastic threads in the food. I pulled one out of my mouth and saw another when I was picking up another bite. I would just call to notify them, but the phone number listed is wrong.
Just tried the custard and sesame buns and they were soft and squishy. More than a hour before closing time and most of the stuff was gone.
One of my fav bakeries in xrds :c
Rude and unprofessional customer service

Just ate a suppose Napoleon cake....but tasted like stack of tasteless grease crumb layers, with single faint mid. sandwiched sweet white cream, and few walnut maybe. I consider myself non-picky eater, but what I just consumed is simply awful. Item not recommended, and should not be marketed. Do they (the bakers) even sample own product? Overrated and overpriced.

They have delicious stuffs I really like this place.
Bought a couple bags of cookies & they had a weird taste & smell to it, tasted like cardboard. If I recall they were the chocolate sprinkled cookies & the raisin cookies. Mind you, I chose the ones that seemed to be partly discolored. Not sure why, they seemed appealing to me. Although I've tried the vanilla sprinkled cookies kind, they were relatively good. They said that the chocolate ones were "supposed" to taste like that...I'd really doubt it.
Similar to 85 but worst quality.. :-(
I got yummy cakes and custard buns! They were so light and fluffy! It was like that episode of Food Wars where everything exploded into light fluffy bubbles ?
