I recently ordered a milk chocolate mango mousse cake from La Cherie Bakery for my husband’s birthday. Although the cake looked beautiful, the taste was quite disappointing. The texture was unexpectedly dry and had a stale feel, which only worsened the next day. For something described as “milk chocolate mango,” I expected a richer mango element, not just a single slice of fruit in the middle.
I placed the order over the phone about 24 hours in advance, even though their policy suggests 48 hours. However, I still expected freshness and quality—especially given the price. I’ve tried mousse cakes from other bakeries that stay light, creamy, and delicious for days, so this was a letdown.
I wanted to try a new bakery this time, but unfortunately the experience didn’t meet expectations. For the cost, I hoped for better quality and flavor.

We found the address and hours on their website and drove 20 minutes only to not be able to find their shop. We called and were informed that they are pre-orders only, however that’s not stated on their website and their Google listing says “shop what’s available in store”.

I've been here a few too many times. Getting custom cakes. First time, I got lost. It was a little hidden, but once I found out, it was easy.
Service is fast/ I text a few days before, pick up tile is set. Once you're here, it's in the shared kitchen. Grab and go ambiance. But very efficient.
And best of all, everyone that got these from me, loved them! Even Baci wanted them but they are human cakes. Love how pretty they are. Makes a great gift!

The cakes are so beautiful, they take your breath away! The colorful mousse cakes were absolutely delicious — not too sweet — and they remain stunning and surprising even when you cut them. They were the perfect size for everyone to sample and still have seconds of their favorites. Not overly sweet, and such a light and fluffy texture.
Ordering process and pickup was easy, and Oksana was SO SWEET.
We will definitely be trying the other flavors next month!

Last minute need for thanksgiving desserts, got passion fruit and Mango mousse cakes and a chocolate caramel tart, honestly low expectations but was blown away. Phenomenal quality. Will absolutely be back. Location is very hard to find and shares with a commissary that has larger signage. Service was very good and owner was very friendly. Would absolutely recommend.

My friends and I just shared their mini cakes and WOW. This will forever be sure be our go-to cake from now on. The raspberry honey cake is our favorite. It is the right amount of sweet, with very rich flavors that come in layers. We all love it. Highly recommended!

We got the signature honey cake in raspberry flavor. Everyone really enjoyed it! It isn't too sweet, thin layers of yummy cake, and raspberry + cream. It felt really balanced through each bite.
