Traditional Contanese Rice Roll, same taste from Guangzhou. The only restaurant in Seattle has this. MUST TRY!

I’ve dined here for both lunch, dinner and have also ordered takeout. The thinness of their rice roll and home cooked flavoring of their rice dishes is what kept me curious to come back and try more dishes.Be warned that their service continues to deteriorate. After signing us onto their waitlist and asking us to wait outside, we continued to check in with them and they noted it would take 30mn. We probably waited 45mn to 1hr whilst they continued to just seat any Chinese-speaking group or folks who stood next to the table that finished. We waited just to see how the service continued… fair to say if you only speak English and aren’t hunting down a table for yourself, you most likely will not get served here.If you want to eat or get takeout here that much then you’ll need to take action yourself.

The food was good but except no service. I ordered beef stew rice noodles, dried shrimp rice noodles, clay pot, and pork & aged eggs congee. I love their rice noodles, reminds me of the ones I get from Vancouver BC. I thought the beef could be more tender. The congee was the most authentic. Clay pot was okay, I never liked clay pots in general.

My experience left much to be desired. After dining here, I felt too thirsty. It's possible that MSG was the star ingredient here. The excessive use of MSG overwhelmed the natural flavors of the ingredients, leaving a lingering artificial taste that overshadowed any semblance of culinary skill. The soup lacked depth and complexity due to the heavy-handed seasoning.

Rice rolls are really soggy and the texture feels Disappointed with how the food tastes, seems like the quality is getting worse each time.

Service - 1/5. I understand it could be challenging to serve everyone by yourself, but you could at least try to be nice about it. We had to stand for a while to get seated even though there was a few empty tables, and then we had to ask for water 15 minutes after we ordered. If you are non-Chinese speaker, it might be a bit hard to ask for things. Ambiance - 1/5. It's a tiny restaurant on the corner of a building. Wear something casual. Don't bring a nice purse with you since chair could be a bit greasy. Food - 3/5. I loved the rice roll with shrimp, beef, and pork. That's all I need next time! Our braised beef noodle soup and lo mein were just ok. The broth was not flavorful and noodle was ok. Mike's noodles in Seattle is by far the best beef noodle soup place to us to this date. The donut rice roll was pretty good, but I don't have to have it again. It's like eating tempura without protein. lol. I can see people loving it if that's something they grew up eating though. Would I come again? Yes, I want to try some other dish next time. Just be prepared that you won't get a good service. Food is still pretty good, so just quietly scan their barcode to order, eat, and leave. Don't expect much then you won't feel too bad.

Great food with good price. The soy milk drinks are free! But they are understaffed and sometimes they are slow.

The rice rolls are served super, super, super slowly! Although it looks like a rub intestine and is as thin as a rub intestine, it is not made by rubbing it.I ordered Zhai sausage, egg sausage, and pig liver sausage. They tasted pretty good. Without the vegetable leaves, it cost half a point. The egg sausage couldn’t get half the egg out of it, hahaha.

Lee's Kitchen serves excellent Cantonese fare. There aren't too many Cantonese restaurants in Greater Seattle, so this is a welcome addition. They specialize in stone pot (rice or noodles) and those were very good. Be aware that making a stone pot dish takes some time, so this is not a quick in-and-out meal. However, it is worth waiting 15-20 minutes for a nice hot stone pot dish with a crispy rice layer at the bottom. We had the salted fish and chicken as well as the Chinese bacon, salted fish and pork patty stone pot rice dishes. Both were excellent with enough salted fish flavor to uniquely flavor, but not overpower the dish. Their rice roll was truly the standout though. This was the best rice roll I can remember eating - including in Hong Kong and Guangzhou. It's better than what I have had in Vancouver for sure. Their rice roll is pulled extremely thin and light, unlike most machine made ones you will get at restaurants. It's a must order! We had the vegetarian option, but I'm sure the others (including plain) are just as good. Order one with your stone pot - it's worth it! My only complaint (minor) was that they overdid it with the garlic in our vegetable dish... tasty but a bit too much garlic for my taste. High marks go to the free condiment bar with peanuts (for congee) and pickled vegetables (well done). They also offered some homemade soup and choice of soy milk or tea on the house. The dining room is new, clean and bright. They also have very comfortable wood chairs. While they have only one staff member working the floor - you order via your phone from your table like so many restaurants are starting to do, the service was very good. My experience was outstanding across the board. This is a casual, tasty Cantonese joint that's clean and fairly priced. Go give them a try!

very small but cute little spot. Everything we tried had great flavor and was well prepared. I tried the Beef noodle soup, the chow fun, the clay pot rice dish and a few other dishes. Vegetables all seemed very fresh. i was to go back and try the roast pork dish.

First time trying. I was looking forward to see what kind of food as I used to be a customer of the Nasai teriyaki that was here previously. The Braised pork on rice was absolutely delicious. The noodles we ordered to go were also excellent. I'm knocking a star because of service. When I came into the restaurant to order to go, there was one customer seated. I sat waiting for my order. Two other tables sat and they started getting their food. 25 minutes later I asked why my order was taking so long. It was sitting on the counter! Great food, but ordering to go, she lost track of my order. I could have sat there another 20 minutes if I didn't ask!

Note I've only gotten takeout from here. Usually it's been pretty crowded and I heard service can be slow so I haven't eaten in store yet. That said the food is delicious Everytime I've ordered takeout. The congee is really flavorful and the rice rolls are delicious. Portions are pretty big, especially the rice rolls. And the rice roll is super thin so it's rly tasty and unique vs other rice roll/ dim sum places. Overall I'd highly recommend at least for takeout. I might try to eat in one day when it's less busy! Also they're doing a promo where all takeout orders come with some fried peanuts, kimchi, and soy milk! It's small containers but still nice.
