An authentic Malaysian restaurant newly opened in Bellevue. MSH originally started in Seattle Chinatown, moved to Redmond, and now opened the second store in Bellevue. The chef used to work in another Malaysian restaurant in NYC before moving to Seattle and opened his own restaurant. A casual restaurant, perfect for family/friends gatherings. Good food, service, and atmosphere.
I’ve been coming to Malay Satay Hut for years, and it’s always a must whenever I’m in town. Their Hainan chicken rice is my absolute favorite! The new location is much farther away from me, but honestly, the four hour drive is still worth it. I can’t wait to go back soon!
We enjoy the Malay food, it's very authentic and comparable with what you can buy in Singapore or Malaysia. People working there are nice and welcoming. Make sure you're not in a hurry and enjoy! Me and my daughter treat ourselves with a mother-daughter lunch at this place sometimes.
