Did we hit this on a good night? First time here, and the food was awesome. The tuna and yellowtail sashimi was buttery, fresh, and cut to a perfect slab, but the lemon double salmon roll was to die for, if you like spicy, and we sure did. Highly recommend!
This place is so good! We ordered way too much, but it was all super delicious. We ordered at least 6-7 different rolls, nigiri, calamari, and cucumber salad. All of it was phenomenal! Went on a Friday evening and I was surprised it wasn’t more busy. They have a good amount of seating, and a fun and clean atmosphere. The waiters were all very kind and attentive. I got a tempura seattle roll, and I'm pretty sure they make them and deep fry them in the morning and then re-fry unthinkable when ordered- the breading was so think it hurt my jaw and teeth! Also they call their cheesecake Japanese, but it's just a regular sweeet ny style- not the light fluffy airy style it's supposed to be!! The homemade gyoza were good- but the spicy tuna roll was waaaaaay too spicy- all 5 of us agreed and it went unfinished!
