Best sushi place in Redmond, maybe even all of the Eastside. The sushi is so fresh and flavorful. I highly suggest the deluxe dragon roll.

We ordered take out here many times and almost always were very satisfied, but a couple of days ago got a very bad salmon cut on our double salmon roll. I’m not sure I’ll return.

The food was great the first time and lackluster the second time. The lighting and atmosphere is probably the biggest turn off as you'll likely feel like you're sitting under a spot light, or staring up into one. They've got the right idea generally, just need to tune their atmosphere and food.

This is the best sushi place on the east side, but for me it is the best sushi place on earth (even compared to fancy Tokyo places) because of chill atmosphere and service quality. Prices are super reasonable as well as food/drinks quality. Coming here for the last 9 years and will continue doing that. God bless the owners who keep that place in that condition!

The co-stars at Oto Sushi are quality and value. I don’t think any sushi bar on the Eastside has fresher seafood than Oto, and certainly none that offer as much goodness for as little scratch. I’ve been going to both the Redmond and Kirkland locations for over ten years and find both do almost equally well, with the 52-48 nod going to the Redmond location. That opinion was confirmed tonight with the Bluefin Tuna Dinner (an incredible value) mated with orders of uni and ikura, all of which was stunningly good in every way. The atmosphere? Too bright for dinner (I was told the lights were not on dimmers - WHAT?), with service that is more fast food than high end, but when the quality for money factor is applied, 4-star service and atmosphere suddenly becomes a 5-star rating. If you like sushi, live within a 10-mile radius of either location, and haven’t tried them yet? You’re seriously missing out. Go.

This is our favorite sushi restaurant in Redmond. Our favorite sushi is seared salmon rolls.
Staff is very friendly and place is cozy for quick lunch or enjoying time with family.

It’s been a few years since I’ve been to one of my favorite sushi restaurants. So good and consistent.
