This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at any Starbucks, and I want every customer to know exactly how this location treats people—especially parents with small children.
I was at Redmond Town Center around 7 PM with my daughter and my 2-year-old, who suddenly started crying for water. Anyone who has handled two kids knows how chaotic it can get, and I had forgotten to bring a bottle. Since I normally buy my coffee from Starbucks every single day, I assumed they would show even a basic level of humanity.
Instead, I was met with pure rudeness. The staff member looked at my crying 2-year-old and still told me they would not give me water unless I made a purchase right then. Fine—if that wasn’t bad enough, I asked if I could at least get an empty cup to fill water myself from the fountain next door. She refused that too. No compassion, no basic decency—just a cold, heartless “no.”
This experience was disgusting and completely unacceptable. If this is how Starbucks chooses to treat parents with crying toddlers, then they clearly don’t deserve loyal customers.
From today on, Starbucks won’t get a single dollar from me, and I will make sure everyone I know hears about this. If you’re a parent, or simply someone who believes in basic humanity, think twice before giving your money to a place that can’t even spare a cup of water for a thirsty 2-year-old.

At this location they gave two entrances, and it always confuses me-where the line forms. Few times other customers were cutting the line just because they were on the other side and then more people joined that line. Today I placed my order for a hot tea, which takes seconds to make, but for some reason I was waiting too long (they were making others orders) , when I asked the barista, it looked like she just forgot about my order. Which is upsetting me, because I usually appreciate Starbucks for the fast service. I understand, it might be something personal (like she didn’t feel well that moment), but from the business perspective, I would add a clear order system, so there is no possibility that the baristas mixing up the order. This location is kind of noisy, so I prefer sitting outside, when the weather is nice.

Even in busy hours with Starbucks looks nice and clean.
My favorite is matcha latte with almond milk and banana bread. Vegetarian options are available, but most of them contain eggs, so watch carefully.
