This is a regular place we go to because the food never disappoints! Their brunch menu on the weekends is amazing and I’m writing this review because of how amazingly consistent the food and service is. We ordered something that the kitchen was out of and the chef actually recreated the dish for us because they felt bad. Rena was our server and she made our whole experience amazing! She went back and forth with the kitchen to figure out our meal for us. I just had to write a review because you truly don’t find good service like this anymore! Also the fried chicken and gravy for brunch is to die for!!

Fantastic menu with a large whiskey collection. It's hard to beat fried chicken and whiskey.Parking: Parking around back that woodblock does not validate.

The smoked drinks are pretty neat.Edit:Recently went again after moving out of redmond (we used to go every ~2-3 weeks). The prices for their dishes have skyrocketed (far beyond inflation), $22 burger (used to be 16 ~2020) feels like a ripoff while the quality and preparation has gone DOWN.Service was ok, got a scolding look for a ~18% tip, probably not coming back :/

This place is FABULOUS! I've been here for dinner twice and once for brunch and every time the service is impeccable, the food is delicious, and the place is clean and inviting. The brisket gnocchi has a good serving of meat, mac and cheese has bleu cheese in just the right quantity, the scotch eggs are perfectly cooked, the bananas foster french toast is like banana bread and soooo moist and yummy, and the croque madame...I have dreams about that sandwich still!Their drinks are unique and delicious, the staff is always so on top of it and nice. Can't go wrong here!

Excellent patio space; I've done both takeout and dine-in, and while service can be a little slow, I really can't say I mind. The view of the park is lovely, the food is great, and the whiskey menu is extensive—and they know their drams.I've been here for brunch, lunch, dinner… you name it, I'll be in. I love their eggs benedict, and the brisket gnocchi is fantastic—especially with the burrata.Parking: There is a fairly large lot about a block away, which offers 2 hours free parking, and there's a small amount of paid parking in the building's garage. Only a few spots are generally available on Cleveland; there's also the park and ride lot near the transit center.

Upon arrival my party entered the restaurant. We were greeted by the hostess who directed us outside and pointed at a sign and in the most demeaning manner said 'see this sign I have out here, it says to wait to be seated.' The stand was positioned in such a way that we did not see it coming from the direction we came from. She then told us she would seat us but had a party with a reservation coming in later and would need the table... One tip...teach your employees to respect your customers or you won't have any in the future. The food is no longer anything special. My wife and I have been frequenting Woodblock since it opened (I think we were there on opening night) and the menu has stopped evolving...at some point they decided to no longer innovate and it shows...it used to be fun with new dishes, a wider selection of small dishes to share but now it all seems tired and been there done that. The food is good, but no longer special, no longer new.Overall the service was terrible, the hostess was rude and even though there were only a half dozen tables with customers the service was slow. I'll be waiting for something new to appear on the menu before going back...and hopefully by that time they can have a little seminar on customer service for their staff.

It was ......nice. The staff was great, the appetizers were very good. The burger was good. Not change your life good, but good. The fries were outstanding.Parking: There is a parking garage right behind the restaurant, but Woodblock doesn't validate, which I found annoying.

The service was kind of awful…. I sat for at least ten minutes before someone finally stopped by (it wasn’t busy). The bartender was NOT friendly and when I asked for a martini he simply asked gin or vodka and upon my answer he immediately walked away before I could even finish my breath to modify my order. Brought me well vodka with olives, when I was actually going to upsell to a more expensive product and wanted a twist…. I should have corrected his mistakes when he delivered the drink, but I didn’t want to wait any longer than I already had, to be honest.Later, when the bar got busy, the “bouncer” fella at the door (it was a Wednesday, don’t know why a restaurant in Redmond has a bouncer) comes to the rail and literally asks 5 patrons to move seats-to “scooch over” so he can seat a party of 3 at the bar. What happened to first come, first serve? I have never, NEVER seen this occur before. Absolutely bizarre experience here.

10-minute wait even though the table we were given was open & ready that whole time; Brunch menu is quite limited unless you want a "breakfast item"; We ordered a hamburger ($22) and a spicy chicken sandwich ($20). At the end, the waitress hovered over the table while I was trying to decide a tip and, a no-no for me, the pre-calculated tip turned out to be based on the amount that includes sales tax. The final "brick on the load" was the suggestion at the bottom of the receipt of a "suggested additional tip". How arrogant. I will say the whiskey selection is very impressive, but the ambience is such that I would not sit there to enjoy it.

I really like this place for dinner, but lunch sucks!

I went yesterday with some friends (6 of us). The food was okay. However, the service was awful. The waitress was rude. I’ve never seen a waitress have such an attitude and be disrespectful. I don’t think it’s fair that a 20% tip is included when it’s a party of 6. The waitress shouldn’t have gotten the amount she did for a tip. She should have gotten much less or nothing at all with her treatment towards us. It seems like this type of arrangement forces you into tipping poor service. I’m quite disappointed with my experience and others agreed in regards to the service that was provided.

Way over priced for low/mid quality food - refused to validate parking for garage they are attached to yet advertises "validated parking with retailers"
