Love this Baskin Robins! The prices seem better than the Baskin Robins in the mall. I absolutely love their chocolate covered frozen bananas, or “choco bananas” as we call them in Mexico. So far I’ve tried their chocolate with almonds and their Dubai one (my personal favorite). I always play connect four with my boys. Staff is friendly. Can’t beat this place.

We visited this location on their grand opening day when there was a special promotion for $1.31 scoops. Despite the repetition of ringing up customer after customer, they managed to overcharge us by a lot. We only ordered one waffle cone between the 6 scoops for three people. Somehow that was equivalent to the cost of 6 waffle cones. With the very long line out the door and a busy parking lot, there was no easy way to go back inside to speak with manager/owner Fiona about the matter. I'm highly disappointed that this was our first experience with the new Renton Baskin Robbins.
We enjoy going to Baskin Robbins in our neighbourhood, but after this experience at this Renton location, I'm not sure we will ever come here again. While the space is large for hanging out to enjoy ice cream, it's nothing I can't do at another location. The place was well staffed for a grand opening, but the customer service could've been improved. The line facilitation could have existed along with some customer interaction. I think the only selling point that this location has over the others is that it's shiny and new, but you can get better service, accurate charges, same great flavours, and satisfing experience by heading to another Eastside Baskin Robbins.
Do I think this Rention location could redeem itself? Sure, but it'll take some time and effort to proof themselves as a team and store to the neighbourhood and ice cream community. They will need to do something about the customers they have wronged. I hope they do.
