Great local beer hall. Sausage, sauerkraut and pretzels were great. Good beer and drinks. Price was reasonable.

Can't say enough about one of my favorite go to places in Renton! Haven't been to Germany but it's got a beer hall feel complete with communal seating and several screens with sports. Menu is solid...Brätzel (pretzel) with beer cheese soup is a must, as is the Stein burger, Schnitzel sandwich, and Schweinshaxe. They have a vast array of beers (.3/.5/1.0L, and a boot of you are so inclined) and useful tasting notes on the menu and some great house cocktails. Prost!

Had high hopes, but, as an actual German, I can't say this place was in any way enjoyable. Food so so at best, atmosphere like any ol' pub, regardless of ethnic affiliation.

Excellent local place for German beer and food. They also have all the Sounders matches on, if you're a soccer fan.

If you want schnitzel go here. It is worth a drive once traffic is down. They make the best jagerschnitzel. I like coming here every few months just to have it. I always ask for more sauce but I’d not hesitate to recommend it.

The staff was fun & accommodating. The food was very good & more than enough on each plate to take home or split with another. We'll definitely go back.

Visiting from out of town. Whoever is the owner, your GM should be fired. Turned away a 18 person group, even when the bar was dead, just because she didn't want us lining up at the bar to get drinks.... We even asked, do you not want our money? She said no, goodbye. So we did indeed leave, and went down the block. Ridiculous.

This is 5 stars only if you have a serious hankering for German beer.

Fun place, fun people, decent tap list as long as you like German. Prices are okay.

Ask about the Berliner bomb.

The best wings, pretzel with beer cheese, and German beers. Very old world feel place with the food and service to match. Great pub to hang out with buds or with the family.

Food was very bland. Service could care less which was weird because they seemed over staffed and only a few other tables. The atmosphere is very fun. I bet this would be a fun place to come drink beer and hang out, not go out to dinner.

Steak tasted boiled and was covering in water.

The Mule (cocktail) somehow tasted like both rubbing alcohol and water.

The pretzel was good.

Rahmschnitzel - the pork wasn’t seared and had a weird texture. However, the mushroom cream sauce was great. The spatzel was flavorless but luckily there was a lot of the mushroom cream sauce to mix into it.

Jäger Schnitzel - this was pretty good. Same issue with the spatzel as above.

Wanted to try the restaurant but changed my mind when I read on the website they add a 3% service charge to your bill. Tacky! Raise your prices to make up for increase in costs but to add a service charge is really tacky.
