Not a great experience for food or Service. Everything was dried out, not flavorful. Definitely substandard. When we went to leave and pay at the register, we saw the cook in the kitchen, licking her fingers and eating. Totally disgusting.
What a huge variety of selections! I've eaten here many times and its always great. Dinners are best. Updated from previous review on 2025-08-31
Vegan options is an understatement and delicious doesn't describe it enough

We were craving vegetarian food, so decided to try here. It's very pretty inside, but it's the style of ceiling where EVERY sound get amplified, and even though there were only three other couples, the voices were so loud both my wife and I were bothered. We ordered an eggplant dish and a tofu one, and their summer rolls. We didn't try their faux meat. It was slow to get anything, with no explanation. I had to drink some of my wife's water since I was really thirsty and they didn't bother refilling our water until much later. The peanut sauce with the rolls felt watered down and tasteless, and our main dishes were very mediocre. We could have gotten these, at better flavor, for cheaper, at a LOT of other Vietnamese restaurants. The faux meat might make a difference to some people though. We most likely won't be back.

Mixed bag. The food was pretty good, as advertised. The general tso's chicken was pretty good, the Mongolian beef was pretty good, the sweet and sour chicken was good, and the tofu Curry was pretty good. The service was a little rough. We were served after people who arrived after us, even though it was not busy not even a quarter full.

Best vegan food I’ve ever tasted. I wish I could learn for my wife because this is amazing and so healthy!

Blossom Stew is the best thing on their menu. You won’t regret it. The other items are just as good.

Food was very good but the restaurant seemed under staffed. We waited a long time to have our order taken and a long time to receive our food.

Tasty food! Not cheap, but large portions. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Have done takeout and dine-in here. When we dined in, we were completely ignored after the food was served despite it not being at all busy. Will go back to takeout. Updated from previous review on 2025-07-07
Although I'm not a local, I've been to Blossom quite a few times. Whenever I'm visiting Washington, I can't miss the opportunity of eating at there.
Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the world.

I’ve been coming here whenever I’m in town for over 10 years. Everything is so delicious. I love the clay pots and pan fried rice noodles. The pork floss fresh rolls are also so good and they have a nice selection of tea. Staff is friendly and there’s such a peaceful atmosphere inside. I’ve brought many meat eaters along with me here and no one has ever complained. So grateful this little gem of a restaurant has been around so long!

I'm joining other reviewers, by recommending Blossom Vegetarian. I was in the mood to try something different, and I'm happy with my choice.
The sweet and sour spare ribs tasted great. The entrée dishes un are generous and fairly priced. I avoided soup, as I found it extremely expensive.
They also have a patio.

We loved this place for the food, service and that everything they serve is vegan. The mock chicken, for example is quite nice and the spices used are great.
