Great spot! The special for the fizzy matcha uzu was SO good!

Warm, welcoming service with outstanding coffee - the Hafi blend is the most intriguing and satisfying light roast I've had outside Kona. A fruity, complex roast with a slow finish. You can taste the minerals in the soil - divine! They support women coffee farmers in Burundi by carrying this blend and sharing the proceeds. 🙏🏻💜

Boon Boona is such a treat! I remember coming to this spot pre Covid when they just opened as I worked in the neighborhood and it was always such a nice place to spend time & get some lunch or coffee. I came here recently on a Sunday evening (& really at any time of day its a lively scene) to meet with a friend & had the Chocolate Hazelnut Latte). It was delicious and everything that the name said it was:) Basically a hot chocolate with caffeine!

The place was busy with customers visiting with friends or working. It's so exciting that they also recently opened up a few locations in Cap Hill, UVillage, as well as the Microsoft campus out in Redmond! A great mission, wonderful staff and owners, & place that consistently delivers delicious coffee :)

Absolutely delicious everything. My friend and I got the berbere mocha and a birthday cookie, my sister got the anise almond latte and they were all absolutely delicious and not too sweet which is great! The two lovely people working yesterday around 4 pm are treasures. They hade this experience even better than it already was. Will be back every time I’m in the neighborhood! Thanks for being awesome!

Incredible coffee offerings, wonderful baristas, and beautiful flavors.
Stopped in for a quick coffee grab with sister and bestie. Sister and bestie both got the berbere mocha, tasted incredible! Similar to a Mexican hot chocolate, but with an African twist. I rarely enjoy flavored syrup or sweetness in my coffee, but when I saw that they had an anise almond syrup I knew I had to try it. Got a latte and it was amazing. Reminiscent of biscotti, but was so beautifully balanced. Not too sweet, the anise didn't overpower the coffee at all and was so complimentary.
The two baristas working were incredibly helpful and we had great recommendations while we were deciding. The conversation that followed while our drinks were made were so sweet and genuine. I think we all could have spent a lot more time chatting 🥺🫶
I hope to go back anytime I'm visiting the Seattle area.

Your coffee might be good BUT your driver is going to cause a lawsuit! No regard for parking lots as he speeds through them.

They had live music a saxophonist on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm. I got a strawberry matcha latte with oat milk, their 12 oz cups are generous and not completely filled with ice so you get a lot of drink for the price. Wish the matcha was a little strong but the level of sweetness was perfect

Cozy vibes and not overwhelmingly loud even when busy. The coffee and food was fantastic. Had sausage and beyond meat breakfast sandwiches. Also serves ozaku pan, which is like a savory almost donut with many meat, vegetarian, and vegan options.

House-mad syrups are unique and good. I particularly liked the anise almond. Great service!

Dont believe the hype. So dissapointing on how bad the services is. They are so busy having side conversations and on their phones you will be lucky is you get anyone that would respond. Some would look at you while you you are asking for help and would turn around and walk away and ignore you. The drinks we got were so awful each time. We are officially giving up on this place.

I only come here if I don’t have time to go literally anywhere else - and I regret it every time I do. Service is awful - staff is rude every time. Food is lackluster in every way and coffee is horrible. Each time I’ve ordered the same thing and each time it’s made different, but somehow always bad. If you’re a local you’re way better off buying your coffee at the rose or coffee & cupcakes - and you’ll spend way less. A $9 cup of gross coffee with bad service? No thanks.
