As a former Texan, I feel qualified to say this is some QUALITY bbq. They have a pretty expansive menu of just about any bbq item you could want but we went with a two meat plate with brisket and pork ribs paired with mac n cheese and baked beans for the sides. This place has been frustratingly close to very good for years but the quality is just too inconsistent. The left side was from a weeks ago and right side is more recent. Exact same order but the difference in quality is staggering. The first order was delicious but the second was terrible. You can tell in the left picture the chicken was actually breaded and fried in house whereas on the right it’s super obvious this was a frozen chicken patty from a store (tasted like it too)....
OMG!? I walk into this bbq joint and that beautiful smell of smoked meat attacks you?! It’s around lunch time and it’s a little empty. Somebody missing out! So, I’ve been touring around the world visiting bbq joints. My most recent reviews was Arizona and UK-England. So, I eat a lot of bbq! I’m not very big with sides my main focus is meat.
