Grilled cheese was somewhat burned and tasted like the grill hadn't been cleaned recently. Was looking forward to the tomato basil soup but there was only won ton soup. Not what I expected from the reviews.

Was actually in the building trying to take care of some court business then I was lured into this nice eatery by the delicious fragrances of lunch foods. Although he space is relatively small, there was no sense of that. Everything was clean and welcoming. The food was great. For their Wednesday special it was teriyaki. I enjoyed a stress free meal surrounded by soft music. If you find yourself in Renton City Hall up on the third floor, I strongly recommend stopping by the City Scene Cafe and grabbing a bite to eat.

I ordered them using uber eats because they had good reviews and I had never ordered with them before. I ordered the TAB (turkey bacon avocado) sandwich, a Cesar salad and a pastrami(which also had avocado). The salad was good, however upon opening my sandwich up to remove the tomatoes, I noticed my avocado was black. After my discovery, we opened up the Ruben and low and behold, the avocado was also black. Long story short, we will not be ordering here again.

Great spot, in and out in minutes and fresh food! My favorite, Thursday special nachos!! Fresh toppings and gourmet style.

Was looking for a quick cafe style spot and this was the winner. Had trouble finding it - located inside the Renton City Hall building on the 3rd floor. Got the Thai wrap and was given he option of having it spicy and had to say yes. The spice cane from fresh Thai chili peppers chopped up! Was delicious! All the vegetables tastes fresh and the food was prepared fast! Also great price! Large menu and wide variety of options. Great spot!

You would not expect a cafe tucked inside City Hall to be very good, but this place is GREAT. Their food is amazing. They have a lot of variety - from traditional grilled cheese and the best homemade tomato soup I've ever had, to delicious korean wraps filled with unique ingredients like pickled papaya. There is very little on their menu that they don't make fresh that day. Its great to have a quick stop with fresh, healthy options for breakfast and lunch. I would eat here over Starbucks airplane food any day. Beyond the great, fresh options - the customer service is also spot on. The owner knows her customers by name and memorizes your 'usual' after your first or second visit. She is happy to make accommodations or substitutions - whatever you are craving, she will make happen! She is supported by members of her family and they are all so sweet. I highly recommend this spot for breakfast or lunch. A+ all around.
