I used to love coming here, and previously had a 5 star review for this place, yet the most recent visit placed a negative connotation to my experience. I came here with an older associate of mine, and no one was there to greet or seat us. This made me walk towards the bar and grab the menus as well as the utensils myself. Again, no greeting, no acknowledgement what so ever from anyone behind the bar and of the servers. It was as if we didn’t even exist. We sat down and then one of the servers walked up and grabbed our order. The food was exceptional, as expected. As we walked out, I made deliberate eye contact with the staff behind the bar and no one told us to “have a good one”, “take care”, “hope to see you soon”, etc. Nothing. No acknowledgement of us being there what so ever, even as we walked out. If this attitude towards customers continues, I will rethink my approach towards coming here ever again. Everyone is so heroic by stating that we should support small businesses, yet those same small business seem to act like they don’t depend on their customers. If you treat your customers as if they don’t exist, well maybe you deserve to be shut down.

I have eaten here countless times and never had a bad meal. Burgers, fish tacos (surprisingly good), steak, you name it - very solid. Lots of TVs and they have pool tables :)

Doofers is a decent dive bar.
Wings - great. Some of the best wings in the area.
Nachos - fairly meh. I feel like they could do better. Nachos aren't too hard, these were a bit wimpy (smaller than expected, less cheese, etc).
Burger - quite good, except I'd say 20% too much sauce. Became super messy.
Atmosphere - Meh, it's a dive bar. Couple sitting to our left was opening like 100 lottery tickets all over the counter, and the couple of guys on our right were arguing and swearing loudly about something. It's what you get at a dive bar.
Service - Just fine. Got our order, they were available when I wanted to pay. No problems.

Now, I'm not from around here, so I wasn't sure what to expect from a place called Doofer's. But we were driving directly from the airport to a wedding rehearsal, I was starving, and with a name like that I figured we had to check it out. My curiosity was rewarded handsomely. My cheeseburger was great, and also enormous. The sweet potato fries were probably the best ones I've ever had. Service was lovely. I still don't really know where I am but Doofer's is a local gem!

We frequently enjoy dining at Doofer’s approximately every other month as my husband’s favorite is Fried Chicken and thus far Doofer’s is the very best we have found. Always piping hot. Not dripping grease. Juicy, tender, flavorful, white meat and the texture reminiscent of crab meat. Our order comes with their perfected “regular” fries that they season simply, with salt & PEPPER, sooooo, good! I always order a side Caesar, that we share, while we’re waiting for our meal. The salad is tossed with the right amount of dressing with the lettuce nice and crunchy. This time I tried their Cobb Salad. It was extremely large and need to meet halved for the next day. Loved everything about including the blue cheese. And yes, I ate it for lunch the next day. You’ll be a Winner for sure when you order this Chicken Dinner!
