It's a drive-through. The brekkie pastry I got was awesome and highly recommended by the barista. Glad I decided to park and enjoy rather than speed through then try to manage coffee & eating a pastry in the car while driving. Surroundings? Meh. But whatever coz it's a drive through, yeah?
Spot check on surroundings could be done through daylight hours though. Sad to note some passersby, whether customers or not, would randomly dispose of things. Maybe a trashcan prior to the windows and another right after?

I've been here twice and both times I was stunned by the kindness of the staff and the quality of the coffee. By far the friendliest staff I've come across in Washington State so far. Really good coffee and lots of options for those of us who are particular about our orders.

Have to say that on sunday (9/8) stop at the renton location and first time ever was there at 10am to get a coffee and i walked up and the barista working that morning was rude opened the window and said that she was refusing walk up customer as she was alone and had a line of cars. I was taken back by this and felt awful as i have never had service refused like that. So i went back this morning and asked the barista who was working did not get her name but she was great and understanding and told me that she should of not refused me service as it was during the morning and to even gave me my coffee free this morning. Thank you for that as it made my morning but someone does need to speak to that barista who worked sunday on there mannerism. So to the girl who helped me this morning thank you very much. this is the reason i continue going back just all the girls are nice and friendly besides the one who refused me service.

The white coffee here is sooo good! I used to go up to There Ya Go Espresso, which I still love but it’s too far for me to drive to. My go to drink at TYGE was a white shark. I have hunted all over the Renton area for another coffee shack that serves the same quality of a white chocolate, white coffee drink! And had no luck! I stumbled across gourmet latte and decided to give it a try! My first time there the barista was super kind and made an amazing white chocolate mocha with white coffee and oat milk!! It was beyond my expectations and even better than what I was having before! She even recommended her favorite food item, pepperoni pizza bagel with 2 packs of cream cheese. Let me tell you, it was pretty good!! It was hot and tasty and the cream cheese was a great recommendation to put on top, I would’ve never thought to do it! Now it is my go to coffee place! I’d rather give Gourmet latte my money for really great coffee, food, and staff, 10x over going to a chain like Starbucks where the espresso always tastes a bit burnt, it’s super expensive to make substitutions, and they don’t even serve white coffee! I also see the barista with the green streaked hair all the time, super friendly and makes my drink perfect every time as well! My last but not least compliment, is for consistency! I ask for the same drink each time, and every time it’s handed to me, it is just as delicious, no matter the barista!

First time visiting today, and it’s the best coffee I have had in a long time. If you like dark chocolate and coffee, I would highly recommend the Dilettante Dark Mocha. I got mine with oatmilk and it was excellent ? Great service as well.Funny that moving to Seattle means I’m breaking up with Starbucks, but ??♀️
