Went to Happy Lemon Renton for the first time. Ordered my on-the-go drink which was Milk Tea with Oreo Cookies and Puff Cream and Original Bubble Waffle. Very delicious and fresh tasting!!! The atmosphere was very pleasant and cozy! Also, outstanding customer service!!! Highly recommended!!! Love love love it 😍!!!

I ordered a lemon green tea with no sugar because I'm trying to cut back on sugar. I was hoping it would still taste like tea. It literally tasted like straight lemon juice and was so sour. There was no jasmine tea flavor at all.

Last night I came into Happy Lemon as a first timer and the boys that were working helped me pick a mango smoothie. They were super helpful being patient with me as I didn’t know what I wanted. On top of that the drink was super good and exactly what I was in the mood for, will most likely visit again!

Drinks are mostly good but they have POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. This one employee always have an attitude, never greets customers, act like she hated the job, sitting in the back using phone while customers are waiting.

I am a regular customer of this place and I really love the mango matcha smoothie, but today I was disappointed, because my drink was always thick and it had the right combination of ingredients. Today they made it liquid for me although I asked for 100% ice and I asked them to redo it right away from the cash register. I was surprised that they tried to make it from what they had already poured into my glass, simply removing the film and pouring half into the blender adding ice there, when they realized that nothing was coming out, they threw it in the trash and made me a new smoothie, but they made it with huge chunks of ice, when I drank it, I came across large chunks of ice that I spat out so as not to chew, I finished it and saw large chunks of ice at the bottom! I am upset with such an attitude!

I ordered a K2 (blended mango matcha) and a hot brown sugar milk tea with boba. I asked for 30% sugar, but the drink was SO sweet I could barely drink a fourth of it. Next time I will ask for zero sugar or 10% sugar. Staff was nice and quick. No line or wait when I went in.

Yikes! Order was all messed up! Hot drinks when they were supposed to be cold, no ice when we asked for ice! Understaffed so I don’t blame the employee but the management is seriously screwed up.

I apologize for my last statement. The transaction delayed in my banking app. I was charged twice elsewhere. Really sorry. The service was really great, that was why I was so upset. I really didn't want to dislike this tea shop. It's super close to home and I enjoyed the tea. Sorry again, and thank you.
UPDATE: Unfortunately I have to revise my review. I initially had a great experience, but after multiple visits, I can confidently say that the service is consistently disappointing. Each time I walked in, I was met with zero acknowledgment from the staff—not even a simple greeting, even after making eye contact! It’s one thing to be busy, it's another for me to be standing at the counter for almost 5 minutes, with a line behind me, with staff right behind the counter...all with zero acknowledgement.
On top of that, the quality of the drinks has been hit or miss. The boba pearls, which should be soft and chewy, were consistently hard. Given that boba is a core part of their drinks, this is a major letdown.
There are plenty of other spots, *further away* that I'm willing to drive to, that offer not only better quality drinks but also fantastic customer service. Unless this location makes some changes, I don't see myself returning anytime soon.
ORIGINAL (soft-open): Was in the area and saw this new Happy Lemon here! Folks behind the counter were super nice, and made fantastic drinks, despite being in soft open. Ordered the brown sugar boba and mango green tea. Both excellent.

I love the happy lemon in university village and was so glad to hear one opened up in Renton near my parents house. The mango smoothie was so delicious and decently priced for the size. I would also recommend the original waffles, they aren’t too sweet and have a nice crunch to them
