This used to be great but for some reason last time it was very bad experience. We waited in line for about 45 minutes on a Friday evening, when it was not really crowded. Only about 20 people ahead of us. They didn't have enough sides. We got disposable plates and utensils. So sad of this :( I hope this one a one off time.

My wife and I went to IKEA to look around and ended up spending three and a half hours and $400. I picked up a nice adjustable desk/ stand and a four (4) tier shelving unit. After the small adventure my wife and I headed straight for the Restaurant to grab lunch and both of us ended up getting Swedish Meatballs with mashed Potatoes w/ Gravy and Peas, along with a couple of flavored sparkling waters. Had a great time going and we're definitely going back again!.

The IKEA restaurant has, like the IKEA Swedish store, steadily declined in quality and offerings over the years. They still have Swedish meatballs and smoked salmon but most other Swedish offerings like Prinsesstårta (a Swedish cake filled with raspberries, pastry cream and whip cream and then covered in marzipan) and Skagen toast (Swedish open-faced shrimp sandwiches) are gone. As for the famous IKEA meatballs: they are not that authentic. They should have been pan fried and are missing the allspice. If you are looking for authentic Swedish meatballs they can be found at the Swedish Club in Seattle and at Broder in Portland. Prinsesstårta and other Swedish baked goods can be found at Byen Bakeri in Seattle.

They implemented some weird buffet thing. $25 or something to get in
It’s hard to find how to cancel online order. Cancel and Return is not simple as Amazon. IKEA system is decade old school . I would buy furniture ms on Amazon instead of IKEA.

Their veggie dogs and plant dogs are a great snack! Plenty of vegan condiment options and very inexpensive. I don't have the patience for the long buffet line, so I get these downstairs at the more limited food counter by checkout.
Meatballs were delicious made me 1% sweedish my name is now bjørn all jokes aside very nice meatballs

Unfortunate that they got rid of the discount you used to get for having a store card - it used to be such good value! Tragically the prices have been jacked up too since me and my spouse last visited. Just not worth the money any more - cold food, coffee with grounds in it, tiny fountain drink cups that you can only half-fill before it froths over... disappointing in the extreme, frankly.
First time having IKEA food; not bad, but not great either, fun experience though! Kinda just tastes like cafeteria food

I got food poisoning from eating at ikea (the vegan meatballs) it was especially terrible and I’ll never eat there again
I wish I could give zero stars. This has been one of the most frustrating restaurant experiences I’ve ever had.
The service was incredibly slow, and the place was severely understaffed — it was clear the staff were overwhelmed and struggling to keep up.
The lack of organization and efficiency was shocking, especially during peak hours. I hope the management seriously reconsiders staffing levels, because this level of service is unacceptable.
It’s 2025 — there are countless ways to make things easier for customers, but IKEA Renton seems to have chosen not to use any of them. I can’t help but feel that it’s not about inability, but unwillingness
Definitely not coming back. Ever.
What can you complain, a place with spacious parking, good food, reasonable price, available area for kids to play have fun, employees are nice and good atmosphere.

We came here for cheap eats for the kids. Chicken strips don’t come with the kids meal anymore so I got a 4 piece and it comes with a handful of fries for them to share. It was 16.99! Ahh!! It didn’t taste that good either!!! It should’ve been 10$.
