I've been eyeing L&L for a while, and on a night when I was specifically craving Hawaiian food, I decided to finally give them a try.
The portions are absolutely massive! I ordered the Kahlua pork with cabbage, and oh my gosh, I stretched it for three meals. The spam musubi was also absolutely delicious, and I couldn't but fill up on those and regret not ordering more.
The restaurant had our food prepared quickly when ordered over an app and service was friendly.
It was also nice seeing the restaurant as busy as it was when I got there at 8:30 pm!

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at L&L Hawaiian Barbecue in Renton, WA, and let me tell you—this place is a hidden gem! Coming all the way from the East Coast, I was craving something flavorful and satisfying, and L&L delivered beyond my expectations.
I ordered the Combination Platter of the Barbecue Mix, which came loaded with barbecue chicken, barbecue beef, and barbecue short ribs—each piece grilled to perfection, juicy, tender, and packed with that rich, smoky Hawaiian barbecue flavor. The platter came with rice and a creamy pasta salad, and I added an extra side of steamed vegetables, which rounded out the meal perfectly.
I also couldn’t resist ordering the musubi, a delicious block of rice topped with a choice of meat, cooked with barbecue sauce, and wrapped in dried seaweed. It was simple yet so flavorful—truly a must-try!
Beyond the amazing food, the hospitality from Ernesto and Jeanette made our visit even more memorable. They made us feel right at home, welcoming us with warmth and kindness. Their service added to the experience, making it one of the best dining stops on our trip.

I was down there today and ordered my food and asked the Mexican if I could use the restroom he said no and I saw a guy coming coming out of the restroom. There weren't any hot sauce he said we didn't have any, what kind of a restaurant is that. I took my money back and came out, I will never go back there, hire non Mexicans

Staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious as always! My only complaint is that I wish there was one in Bonney lake or puyallup.
