La Fuente in fairwood has been my family's go to gathering place since I can remember! The ownership was amazing, always greeted my parents by name, made special orders for my picky baby sister, and helped make recommendations for our first family trip to Mexico, sharing their family restaurant, PePe's in Puerto Vallarta. Nacho, Lencho, Maria, and the whole family and staff will always have a special place in the Rupnick's hearts. Thank you for all the amazing memories and the best Mexican food I've ever had! We'll miss you!

Service is under par. Not good to hear waitress explain to customers why they only can afford two servers. Also not good to overhear servers speak about their personal social activities. Not being told of additional up-charge for jalapeños is not ok. As for the food quality, I ordered streak fajitas for two and found the meat poorly seasoned with each strip thinly cut missing all the flavor of meat one expects. The oregano flavor in the meat was incredibly disappointing. I'd suggest smoke seasoning over what's currently being used. The rice was insipid, it needs to be cooked with real tomatoes and not a prossed seasoning mix. The beans however were very good. I ended up using the rest of my tortillas chips to placate my hunger. I hesitated to take home to-go the remainder of my costly meat. You'll need to bare with the only music that comes from the kitchen. I expect better for the pricing but remain hopeful that some of these items will get addressed eventually.

The new management has done an amazing job with everything. Friendly and the food is amazing. If you have never tried the carne nachos, do it. They are amazing.

I've been here twice now and both times haven't been great. After the first time I wanted to give it one more chance. Our service this most recent time wasn't great. I think they were understaffed and our server kept forgetting about us, took about 10 minutes just to bring us water and no one came to bring us the bill at the end... We had to go to the front to pay our bill which isn't typical at a sit down restaurant.

I grew up eating here, however, I can't say the quantity is the same after all these years. Whilst inflation obviously has an impact, getting our serving sizes quite literally cut in half whilst raising the price just isn't worth it. Not to mention the fact that theyve started charging for salsa - we used to get a giant cup and now they cheap out on the little plastic containers.

Best Carne Asade I've ever had. Chilaquilles delicioso! Nice family business, give em a try!
I arrived early for a hair appointment and stopped in for lunch and OMG!!! The Beef Mexican Pizza, Salsa & Cucumber Jalapeno Margarita were the absolute best!! And the service was stellar!! I would highly recommend them if in the area!!!
Food is just okay and service was terrible.

So glad we found Adrian and the Sahagun family at Fairwood. Hoping they'll be there for years to come! Excellent food. TACO Tuesdays and Happy Hour food and drink.
my bill was $60
Immediately after walking through the front door, I knew to turn around. From the torn up seats, to the dirty walls and doors I should have known better. The host was on the phone having a personal call about who’s going to watching her kids as people were waiting to be seated. The food, no words. Absolutely disgusting. Do not come here. Sorry not sorry
This spot is a local gem! The food is always on point, the drinks hit just right, and the service is consistently helpful. I usually go for the shrimp fajitas and a Loco during happy hour—highly recommend. There’s bar seating too. Thank me later!
It says under new management, but they still have the same crappy, dilapidated lighted sign on the outside of their restaurant and the same crappy hours. I mean closing at 9:00 pm on a Friday and Saturday night??!! You can't even stay open until 10:00pm on Friday and Saturday??!! I was gonna take my wife here to eat like a year ago, it was like 8:30 pm on a Friday and they said that they were already closed. I told her that I would never attempt to eat here again until they are open later and change the name of their restaurant!!! As of now, I have never ate their food and never will until these changes are made.If it's under new ownership, then maybe they will change the name of the restaurant (along with that old, ugly, broken sign), and have later hours that they are open. If you want banker hours, go in to a different occupation!!!
