The Melrose Grill is a recommended restaurant, known for its food. The shrimp and tomato and blue cheese appetizer are standouts. For main courses, the Prime Rib steak and Copper River Salmon are popular choices, as well as the 16oz Ribeye which is renowned for its marbling and quality. The restaurant also offers tasty sides such as garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms.
The building itself is a historical landmark, dating back to 1901, and while it may be small and a bit rustic, it adds to the charm of the restaurant. Customers have praised the food at the Melrose Grill. The Filet Mignon, baked potato, and blue cheese dressing have been well-received. The restaurant offers a range of dining experiences, and is an excellent value for the food offered. It is a try for steakhouse lovers. The service was terrible and obnoxious, with long waits for food. However, some found the service great, with a bartender named Melissa providing a great drink and happy birthday dessert. The place is a hidden gem, a small neighborhood steakhouse, perfect for date night or dinner with friends. The food is the real star, with most orders including sides and salads. The price is about the same, or less, than you pay for just a steak at other places. The filet Melrose size is recommended. Though, some had reservations and still didn't get seated until 30+ minutes after their reservation time.
