There's a wide variety that leaves wanting to come back and try all the other items, and not to mention that the food has a very homey feel.I have to update my review since I’m a long time goer - I want my friends to understand that this restaurant does not specialize in ramen! Go for the stuff you don’t find anywhere else like Katsudon, hand-made Gyoza, and washington roll!The service takes time which is okay for me since i like to take my time and enjoy a book. Definitely NOT a fast food restaurant, but a place you can hang out and chill with friends and family.Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian rolls which range from: Veggie roll that contains a variety of veggies to a simple cucumber fill, but my favorite has to be the futo maki because it was marinated shiitake and egg for protein! Though I can’t remember if that was fully vegetarian as I’m not too picky so definitely ask! Warm food wise, there’s a variety of tofu options~

My wife and I came in on a Saturday at 3:30pm. Our experience was not so great. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Service was extremely slow, our food took 25 mins.. food was ok, the restaurant has a weird odor inside almost smelt like musty.

I was a bit disappointed with this place. I thought the food was pretty mediocre, and the restaurant did not have a great atmosphere. The restroom (it was only one with different stalls for each sex) was in really bad shape. For the price per plate (~$18) I would never go back.

I'm new to the Renton area still exploring great Asian cuisine in the area. This is by far the best Japanese restaurant I have been to. The family is so nice, the food, atmosphere, and feng shui to this place is comfortable and cozy. If you need to destress during lunch or dinner in Renton, go to them! You also get to learn more Japanese words and they encourage you to communicate in Japanese with them (on the menu there is a list of common phrases). They are a small and wonderful operation. The woman at the front who hosts/serves/cooks not only does it all but she does so quickly. I love them, I will see them again with friends soon!

It reminds me of Japanese food in Hawaii (where I’m from); my favorite dish is the katsu spam curry. Spam fried up like katsu and served over curry poured over hot rice. Their sushi is top tier with fresh ingredients and done like you’re in Japan. The atmosphere is laid back, yet upscale so it’s a proper venue for parties and get togethers. I love this place. It’s my go to. It’s pricey and the food takes a while to prepare, but that’s to be expected of a restaurant of this caliber. Lots if parking so you don’t have to drive in circles looking for a spot, or walk far. I wanted to keep this place a secret so I can get a table every time I’m there, but that’s selfish and this spot is just so damn amazing.

Owner is super friendly (great service) and the interior is clean and nice. The sushi isn't anything unworldly, but definitely fresh, good and satisfying. They have all the staples covered. The bento box is a great lunch choice, and good value. A nice little spot for downtown Renton.

The service style is actually similar to being in Japan, you can just call someone over, I appreciated the opportunity to practice Japanese just a little bit because the staff mostly speak Japanese as well as English.We first got green tea which came loose leaf in a pot. Nicest quality tea I've had in a restaurant in a very long time.The food was extremely good, I probably ate more than I should have. We also got the tenpura ice cream which was incredible. Pretty large too good for 2-4 people to share.They played more traditional Japanese music and had a traditional painting of a woman that I just really liked.
